Operating Instructions 1. Charge 2 or 4 pieces of AA or 2 pieces of AAA batteries in pair(s) only. Never charge AA and AAA NiMH batteries at the same time. No other combination is allowed. (Fig.1) 2. Insert GP NiMH batteries into the charging slots correctly according to the polarity indications (+/-). 3. Connect the charger directly into a corresponding AC power outlet. 4. The LED indicator will light up in red when charging is in progress. It will turn to green when the batteries are fully charged. Trickle charging will start after all batteries are fully charged. 5. The red LED indicator will flash or turn off and the charger will stop charging if alkaline, rechargeable alkaline or damaged batteries are mistakenly inserted into the charging slots. 6. Once charging is complete, disconnect the charger from the power source and remove the batteries. For best performance and safety, charge only GP NiMH batteries with GP PowerBank Rapid 2.

Attention: 1. For brand new batteries, 2 to 3 times of charging and usage cycles are required to optimize the batteries' performance. If batteries are stored for more than one week, always recharge them before use. 2. It is normal for batteries to become hot during charging and they will gradually cool down to room temperature after fully charged. 3. Charging time may vary based on different battery capacities. (Refer to the Charging Time Table) 4. Remove batteries from the electrical device if the device is not going to be used for a long time. 5. Battery storage temperature: -20C to 35C. Charger operation temperature: 5C to 45C. Caution: 1. Charge GP Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries only. 2. Do not charge other types of batteries such as alkaline, rechargeable alkaline or any other kind of batteries not specified as they may leak or burst, causing personal injury and damage. 3. Do not mix new and used batteries, or charge batteries of different brands or capacities at the same time. 4. Never use an extension cord or any attachment not recommended by GP, otherwise may lead to a risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury. 5. Unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting cleaning or when not in use. 6. Do not short circuit batteries. 7. Do not wet, incinerate or disassemble the charge and batteries. 8. Indoor and dry location use only. Do not expose the charger to rain, snow or extreme conditions.
