| I own a new 2010 tucson and I have had problems with the clutch. It will not disengage from first gear. I will have the clutch pushed in and its stuck in first gear and it wont come out. It moves forward. The only way to get it out of gear is to shut the car off and release the clutch and then push clutch in. I have had the slave cylinder replaced, the valve replaced and its been bled 2x and still the same problem. Any thoughts? Don't buy a 2010 stick shift! This vehicle is brand new and doing this, can you imagine after some mileage | |

more room, more STYle, anD more STUFF For leSS moneY. SimPle, iSnT iT ?
There was a time when car companies, as they moved upscale, would invent a new brand name befitting a luxury image. With a new, loftier sticker price to match. How 1990s. At Hyundai, were content to let the qualities of our vehicles speak for themselves. Take Hyundai Tucson. Its refined look is sleek and aggressive, with scuplted hood creases, wrap-around headlights and an available panoramic sunroof. But its whats inside that youll find most striking: Room. Whether its headroom and legroom for you and your passengers, or cargo room to carry out your plans, Tucson is surprisingly spacious inside. Under the hood, theres a choice of 4-cylinder engines: A 2.0L or a 2.4L Theta 2 that delivers up to 176 horsepower and an estimated 31 MPG on the highway.1 Beneath the skin, advanced safety features earned Tucson a Top Safety Pick in 2010 by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.2 Theres also an available All Wheel Drive System. And its backed by Americas Best Warranty, including a 10-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty with 5-year/unlimited miles Roadside Assistance.3

THE EPA MAY CLASSIFY TUCSON AS A COMPACT SUV, BUT DONT LET THAT LABEL FOOL YOU.
Cross shopping crossover vehicles isnt always so simple. Heres some help: The EPA may classify Tucson as a compact, but Tucson has more rear-seat legroom than Toyota RAV4, Nissan Rogue, Ford Escape or Subaru Forester. And its got more passenger interior volume than Rogue or Escape. Its even got more passenger interior volume than an Acura RDX. Yet the new Tucson still leaves lots of space for cargo. In fact, with the rear seat up, its got more cargo capacity than an Infiniti FX or a BMW X5. With all the room, it affords you comfortable accommodations for five. And its available with features great and small that are, by anyones measure, upscale amenities. Like heated seats. Or a panoramic sunroof that creates an open, airy feeling within the interior. Theres even an available navigation system that helps you plot your next move, no matter where your travels take you.
XM SATeLLITE RADIO
Tucson comes with XM Satellite Radio (free 3-month subscription). Sports, talk, comedy, news and the most music on satellite radio are available with the crystal clarity of digital audio.3
PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM PLUG AND PLAY INTELLIGENT NAVIGATION
iPod/USB and MP3 auxiliary input jacks let you fill the cabin air with songs from your iPod through the standard 160-watt, 6-speaker audio system and iPod cable.1
Tucson guides you via an available navigation system featuring a 6.5-inch LCD touch screen and a voice recognition system that lets you enter addresses by speaking. XM NavTraffic satellite traffic information is available through a free 3-month subscription, providing real-time traffic updates right on your screen.2
The sound of your Tucson engine revving happily to its redline should be enough music to your ears. Of course, theres another option for your listening pleasure: The available 360-watt, 7-speaker premium audio system with subwoofer.
INTEGRATED BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY
AUTO-DIMMING MIRROR WITH HOMELINK
The available Bluetooth wireless technology allows you to use your mobile phone hands-free. Bluetooth audio streaming is available as part of Tucsons navigation system.4
An available rearview mirror automatically dims to reduce glare and incorporates a HomeLink transceiver that acts as the remote control for things like your automatic garage door and security gate openers, or your automatic home lighting system.5
iPod is a registered trademark of Apple Inc. 2XM NavTraffic requires a monthly subscription sold separately after a complimentary 90-day trial subscription and is available only in select markets. For more information, see www.xmradio.com/navtraffic. 3XM Satellite Radio requires an XM subscription, sold separately after the complimentary introductory period. All fees and programming subject to change. Traffic and weather channels only available in select metropolitan markets. See your dealer for details. HYUNDAI ENGINEERING: THE SUBSTANCE BEHIND THE STYLE.
We know what youre thinking. From what you can see of Tucson, its all there: The sleek design, the spacious interior, and the sophisticated features. But what about all the things you cant see? The guts of the engineering systems that deliver Tucsons acceleration, traction, safety and stability what about those things? Tucsons available 2.4L Theta 2 engine has plenty of get-up-and-go. Yet its estimated at up to 31 MPG with minimal emissions. The secret? Variable valve timing advancements, which the 2.0L engine also offers with a choice of two transmissions: A standard 5-speed manual, or an available 6-speed automatic with SHIFTRONIC. Tucson comes standard with a long list of safety features, too. Theres Anti-lock Braking with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist. Active front head restraints. And six airbags dual advanced front airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, and roof-mounted side-curtain airbags with rollover sensors.1
TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) Hillstart Assist Control (HAC)
Tucsons Electronic Stability Control includes a sophisticated Traction Control System to help reduce wheel spin under acceleration.3
ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)
Downhill Brake Control (DBC)
ACTIVE SAFETY ENGINEERING
Every 2011 Tucson comes standard with ESC. It helps prevent plowing or fishtailing by applying brake force when needed to keep the vehicle cornering on its intended path.2
Active front head restraints move upward and forward in certain rear-end collisions, which helps provide extra protection against whiplash.
WELL EQUIPPED FOR LIFES UPS AND DOWNS
Standard on every Tucson is Hillstart Assist Control, a technology that helps minimize backward rolling as you release your foot from the brake (for example, when youre stopped at an intersection on an uphill slope). Also standard is Downhill Brake Control, which helps the driver maintain control and speed when easing the vehicle down steep descents.
ELECTRONIC BRAKE-FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)
EBD uses a network of sensors to distribute brake pressure at each wheel. So even with changing conditions of road surface, load and speed, braking performance is optimized.
The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) is designed to work with the 3-point seatbelt system. The SRS deploys in certain frontal and/or side-impact conditions where significant injury is likely. The SRS is not a substitute for seatbelts, which should be worn at all times. Children under the age of 13 should be restrained securely in the rear seat. NEVER place a rear-facing child seat in the front seat of a vehicle that has a passenger-side airbag. 2Electronic Stability Control (ESC) cannot control your vehicles stability under all driving situations. ESC is not a substitute for safe driving practices. No system, no matter how advanced, can overcome physics or correct poor driving. The driver is always responsible for controlling the vehicle and must use caution to avoid loss of control in all driving conditions. Speed, road conditions and driver steering input will affect whether ESC can help prevent loss of control. See Owners Manual for details. 3The Traction Control System (TCS) is meant to enhance conscientious driving habits and is not a substitute for safe driving practices.
