The accessory is designed for the on-demand market where quality expectations are growing, but turnaround time is shrinking. Value-added services, such as in-line finishing, can enhance a printed product and provide additional opportunity to generate revenue. The Two-Knife Booklet Trimmer-A1 integrates seamlessly with the Booklet Trimmer-C1 and the Saddle Finisher-AB2 to enable three-sided trimming of full-bleed, saddle-stitched booklets. The capabilities of this finishing accessory will allow your business to completely produce and finish a greater variety of jobs in-line, without operator intervention. By shortening the time it takes to produce and finish the job in-house, you can meet the tightest deadlines requested by your customers. Available on a majority of the imagePRESS digital presses, this accessory eliminates the need for costly off-line finishing equipment and offers a solution to grow your business. Current imagePRESS digital press owners utilizing the face trimming ability of the Booklet Trimmer-C1 will be able to upgrade to three-sided trimming with this accessory. Color consistency. The imagePASS-A1/B1 controllers utilize optimized ICC profiles in the ColorWise architecture to achieve accurate and consistent color on supported Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE models. The controllers are also fully compliant with the PDF-X/3 standard for exceptional reproduction. Color matching. Through the Spot-On with Substitute Colors feature, users can quickly match and reuse spot colors in logos and other documents with ease for reliable reproductions. Auto trapping. With this standard feature, color misregistration is virtually eliminated through an advanced trapping algorithm so efficient that theres little to no print performance impact.
