Power Supply Cord

Use a 1.83 m (610 ft), SPT-2, AWG no. 18 power supply cord rated for 125 V 7 A, with a non-polarized NEMA 1-15P plug rated for 125 V 15 A.

Precautions for Use: MH-62 Battery Charger
IMPORTANT The Nikon MH-62 can be used to recharge Nikon EN-EL8 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries only. It can not be used with other batteries. Remove the battery from the charger when charging is complete. When recharging, the ambient temperature should be in the vicinity of C (F). Remove the power cable from the power outlet when not in use. Do not short the battery charger terminals. Failure to observe this precaution could result in overheating and damage to the charger. When in use, the charger must be kept level with the CHARGE lamp facing up.

Recharge the battery before using the product for the rst time, or before using the product following an extended period of disuse. The battery can be recharged in the MH-62 battery charger or by inserting it in the camera and connecting the camera to a compatible AC adapter. When recharging the battery, the ambient temperature should be between C (F) or the battery may not fully charge or may not function properly. The internal temperature of the battery may rise while the battery is in use. Attempting to recharge the battery while the internal temperature is elevated could affect battery performance, and the battery may not charge or may charge only partially. Wait for the battery to cool before charging. Do not attempt to recharge a fully-charged battery. Failure to observe this precaution will result in reduced battery performance. Do not move the MH-62 or touch the battery during charging. Failure to observe this precaution could in very rare instances result in the MH-62 showing that charging is complete when the battery is only partially charged. Remove and reinsert the battery to begin charging again. In the event of malfunction, stop use immediately and take the charger to a Nikon service representative for inspection.
