I got mine for 98 dolars at target during the thanksgiving weekend. Takes good picture, cropping on camera, and deleting in seconds, email. I spent one month researching digital cameras before making the purchase. Relatively low cost, 8 mega pixel, many shooting mode.

Best digital camera I ever owned. I lost my first one on a cruise this year and am buying another. Easy to use None I purchased an NV3 camera from samsung and have not been able to get it to work with my computer.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a small camera with a large lcd that takes great pictures night and day. I have a Panasonic FX9 and Canon S2. Both can shoot excellent video, especially the Canon. But the video size is big. "A couple months after i got it it started issues.

About 1 year ago, I bought this camera for $200 from Amazon. Let me admit that I bought the camera for its sleek look, but now looking back... Very small and durable with an MP3 player, 7.2MP images and NTSC/VGA video. Complicated access to special features, you need to buy a flash card.

I think this is a great camara, I just used for 3 days and I am now taking it with me everywhere. Comparing to other camaras. The NV3 has the looks to make a fashion statement. Your friends will definitely want to check it out when you pull it out of your pocket.

CAUTION

CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in a minor or moderate injury. Leaking, overheating, or burst battery could result in fire or injury. Use battery with the correct specification for the camera. Do not short circuit, heat or dispose of battery in a fire. Do not insert the battery with the polarities reversed. Remove the battery when not planning to use the camera for a long period of time. Battery may leak corrosive electrolyte and permanently damage the cameras components. Do not fire the flash while it is in contact with hands or objects. Do not touch the flash after using it continuously. It may cause burns. If you are using the AC Charger to drive the camera, do not move the camera while it is switched on. After use, always switch off the camera before unplugging the cable from the wall socket. Then make sure that any connector cords or cables to other devices are disconnected before moving the camera. Failure to do so may damage the cords or cables and cause a fire or electric shock. Take care not to touch the lens or the lens cover to avoid taking an unclear image or causing a camera malfunction. Avoid obstructing the lens or the flash when you capture an image. Low temperatures can affect the performance of the LCD monitor and you may experience the following problems. (These problems will usually disappear at normal operating temperatures and are perfectly normal.) - The time of power on can be delayed and the colour of LCD monitor can be changed slightly. - Fast movement, when pointing the camera at the subject, can make an afterimage appear on the LCD monitor. Credit cards may be demagnetized if left near case. Avoid leaving magnetic strip cards near the case.

Don't be fooled by its compact size. The NV3 features seven different and dynamic ways to entertain your senses, whatever your mood. The NV3 is much more than a camera: it answers the needs of consumers who crave for more, combining a more luxurious design and practical multimedia technology. The NV3 is a convergence device, functioning as a high-resolution 7.2 mega-pixel digital camera. It also acts as an MP3 player using a special audio processing chip delivering 3D, Jazz, Rock, and other sound effects; a Portable Multimedia Player that can be connected to an external speaker for realistic movie sounds; a digital camcorder with MPEG-4 TVD & VGA video support for TV quality images; a voice recorder and a Sound clip function to record voice during 10-second self-timer shooting mode; a text viewer for reading text on the LCD or to use as an e-book; and as a portable disk with a 16M built-in memory and external SD card. The NV3 is a truly practical multimedia digital camera, with features to attract the next generation of digital photographers. With Samsung's unique ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) system, 3x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom, and 230K 2.5" LCD, the NV3 is a spectacular digital camera in itself. Its multitasking function enables you to listen to music while taking pictures. The NV3 is a thin digital camera at 17.5mm in depth, encased in a black stainless steel body that is scratch and shock resistant. As with the other models in the NV Series, it uses the unique Samsung digital camera blue ring to maintain its identity with the NV range. The NV3 also minimizes zoom noise in movie recording mode enabling sound to be recorded. With AGC (Auto Gain Control) recording technology, the NV3's video quality delivers a real camcorder like experience.
