The Tandberg StorageLoader 2U LTO combines high capacityup to 32TB* and performance in a small 2U form factor. Combined with the new hardware-based encryption capabilities of LTO-4 and the ease-of-use and convenience of tape automation, it is well-suited to address the ever-growing demands for affordable, reliable, high-performance data protection of SMBs, departmental organisations and mid-range enterprises.
Tandberg Data understands that your data needs change over time, so weve created the Tandberg StorageLoader 2U LTO to easily scale from a 1x10 autoloader to a 2x20 library, the StorageLoader 2U LTO supports up to two half height LTO drives or one full height LTO drive. Adding or upgrading the tape drives is easy and can be performed when the library is still in its racksaving you time. The StorageLoader 2U LTO supports LVD SCSI, Native Fibre Channel and SAS connectivity and is a great fit for most midrange storage environments. The Tandberg StorageLoader 2U LTO has a host of management and maintenance features, ensuring minimized down-time and ease of management. The StorageLoader 2U LTO uses an intuitive, userfriendly LCD interface to guide you through configuration, status, diagnostics and help functions. Using the browser based remote management interface, your administrators can remotely monitor, control, configure and diagnose the StorageLoader 2U LTO via the Internet from anywhere in the world. The StorageLoader 2U LTO can automatically send an email notification if something is wrong with the library, and it supports SNMPwhich will immediately send information on any error situation that occurs to the host. To assist you in meeting the numerous data archiving regulations, the StorageLoader 2U LTO LTO-3 and LTO-4 leverage the Write Once, Read Many (WORM) technology, which allows you to store data in a non-erasable, non-amendable format.
