If Google works more on getting the touch sensitive better performs... this will be a fight with iPhone. background notifications. If both hardware and software makers want to make this new platform popular, they should be making it reasonably priced.

when i went to purchase a new phone it was betweek this and the moto cliq. i decided to go with the mytouch and do not regret it. i love this phone.

The mytouch slide is the best android phone I have ever had! I had a g1 and a moto cliq but the mytouch slide kills both!

wow This is a great device. Really you are not buying a phone but a very powerful computer for your pocket. Google Ion "G2" using Android 1.5 OS (free from Goolge at I/O conference) I would up my rating from 3 to 4+ stars now.

Great phone with great service - but note...UPDATED I love this phone. However. Google Ion "G2" using Android 1.5 OS (free from Goolge at I/O conference) I would up my rating from 3 to 4+ stars now.

Is a great phone for someone who knows what they are doing. Knowing adb would be of great use, so rooting would be a breeze.

I had received the phone before it hit the retails stores back on July 31, 2009 through the Tmobile site since I was already a customer.
