Notice for FinePix 40i users
On Windows XP, RealJukebox Plug-in for FinPix is also installed after using the updater. Audio Downloading Software is not compatible with Windows XP. So, RealJukebox Plug-in for FinPix must be used for downloading MP3 files into SmartMedia with ID. Since the procedure for downloading MP3 files with RealJukebox Plug-in for FinPix is different from that with Audio Downloading Software, please refer to the following procedure. Cf. On Windows 98/98SE/Me/2000, both Audio Downloading Software and RealJukebox Plug-in for FinPix can be used.

1. Install the software included on the CD-ROM enclosed with FinePix 40i, i.e. Exif Viewer, Audio Downloading Software and RealJukebox Plus. 2. Execute the FinePixViewer updater for Windows XP.
<<Procedure for downloading the MP3 files into SmartMedia with ID>>
1. Set the SmartMedia with ID to FinePix 40i. 2. Turn on the camera and connect it to the PC in DSC mode. *If FinePixViewer automatically starts up, exit FinePixViewer. 3. Start RealJukebox Plus 4. Create MP3 files from Music CDs or download them from CDDB as usual. 5. Click the Music library menu, and the portable sound player will be displayed.
6. Double-click the Portable Players / Storage icon, and the FUJIFILM FinePix icon will be displayed. Then, double-click the FUJIFILM FinePix icon, and the SmartMedia with ID icon wil be displayed.
7. Click the Add tracks button at the bottom of the RealJukebox screen, and the Add tracks window will be displayed.
8. Select the tracks to be downloaded. If you want to select multiple tracks, click the tracks while pressing the SHIFT key or CTRL key. <When you select a single track> <When you select multiple tracks>
9. After selecting the tracks, click the Add >> button. If you finishing the selection, click Close button consecutively. All the selected tracks are reserved for downloading and display Ready to Transfer status on the right side of the RealJukebox window.
10. Click the Begin Transfer button to start downloading the files.
11. As downloading is being executed, the Begin Transfer button is changed into the Cancel Transfer button as shown below.
12. When the Cancel Transfer button turns gray, the downloading is complete.

USB To Copy To Basic 1. Main Button A) When is off, press Main Button once to turn it on. B) When is turned on, both source and target USB devices are connected, press Main Button once to start data copying. C) When is on, copying is not taking place, press and holddown Main Button for over 3 seconds to power off. 2. Copying Mode Switch A) FOLDER When FOLDER Mode is selected, it will only copy the specific 001folder from source USB device to target USB device. If 001 folderdoes not exist in source USB device, it will copy all folders and files to target USB device B) DISK When DISK Mode is selected, it will copy all the folders andfiles from source USB device to target USB device 3. LED Indicator A) Green LED Power indicator. Batteries should be replaced when theGreed LED is flashing (batteries level is low) B) Red LED i) Flashing - data copying is in progress ii) Steady Red - Error occurs during copying iii) Off - idles 4. Auto Power off Will automatically power off to save battery, if no action is taken in 40 seconds.
