First, turn the power off to check out the touch: When you press down the lowest keys on the keyboard youll notice its HEAVIER than the upper part of the keyboard just like on a $100,000 Grand Piano! This GREAT Technology makes for the MOST incredibly accurate GRAND PIANO feel! Check out the tops of the keys and the Ivory and Ebony feel! On old acoustic pianos, Ivory allowed for a steadier grip on the keys. Plastic is slippery. Ivory Feel allows for a steady grip when your hands sweat AND theyre anti-bacterial and VERY Durable!

Three 88-key Stereo Multi-Sampled Grand Piano Sounds 1. The RD-700GX powers on to a Grand Piano automatically! (Piano A, Expressive Grand) 2. 3. 4. 5.
Play the brand new, exciting, bright and alive piano sound. PRESS the DEC and INC buttons above the wheel to raise and lower the lid of the grand piano. For another grand piano, press the F1 button TYPE below the screen for Expressive Grand. For the third grand piano, press TYPE again to try Ultimate Grand (for the RD-700SX fans). PRESS F2 DESIGNER (below the screen) to access the Piano Designer menu. Check out the parameters that can be adjusted. Use the right/left/up/down buttons around the wheel to access different pages and functions. Turn the wheel to adjust the sound. TIP You can always hit the ONE TOUCH PIANO button from any page to return to PIANO! NOW, turn ON the power to HEAR and EXPERIENCE the GREAT piano sounds!
6. Press the EXIT button to the lower left of the wheel to return to the main page.
SuperNATURAL EP Tones Built-In
1. PRESS One Touch E. PIANO (for quick access to 3 top variations 2. Tine E. Piano is choice A. It is a Rhodes-like sound. 3. PRESS F1 TYPE just below the screen for the Wurly E.P. Play it soft, then increase slowly to hard. Youll notice the smooth and authentic transition in tone as you play it harder. 4. PRESS F1 TYPE again to get the next E.P., Dyno E. Piano. A more 80s sound. 5. PRESS F2 DESIGNER for the E. Piano Designer menu. Use the right/left/up/down buttons around the wheel, and turn the wheel to edit the sound to your liking.

Play along with YOUR favorite AUDIO LOOPS (.WAV,.MP3 or.AIFF files). PRESS the AUDIO KEY button on the right hand side of the panel. The bottom 15 keys become Audio Files that you trigger directly from the keyboard. Listen to the built audio demos by pressing lowest B note key. Watch the screen for a demo subject and countdown during the audio explanation. When the file stops, press the next key up. The last demo is found on the lowest F#. You can stop the demos at anytime by pressing the lowest A note key. The last four keys (G# thru B2) are Jam-Along audio files. These are real audio loops you can jam along with simply by pressing the keys at any time.
8. You can create your own audio loops by using the included version of Cakewalk by Rolands SONAR LE 9. You can then create your own Audio Key files by using the free utility Audio Key software included
with the RD-700GX. TIP The RD-700GX has a USB Host Port for connecting a USB Memory Key. This memory key can hold Audio Files (.WAV,.MP3,.AIFF) and SMF as well as Audio Key files and your favorite setups.
