People, the Iomega 1TB ScreenPlay Director 34650 is just what I wanted. I badly needed a media player as I needed it to connect to my home theatre or television. I have 1 HT and 2 televisions to cater to the entire family.

Setup overall was easy. Wireless adapter (bought separately from Iomega) caused problems at first. WEP key is case sensitive.

I was tempted to order the Wifi addon so that I could connect with my network, but decided against it.

The Iomega ScreenPlay Director is fully WiFi-ready and can easily connect to your wireless network using an Iomega USB WiFi adapter. If you do not already have a wireless network installed, you will need to obtain a wireless router and install it before you can set up a wireless connection for the ScreenPlay Director. 1. Connect the Iomega WiFi adapter to one of the USB host ports on the back of the ScreenPlay Director player. 2. If you havent already done so, connect the ScreenPlay Director to your TV set. Try these suggestions if the ScreenPlay Director is not recognized on the network. Make sure the ScreenPlay Director is connected to power and turned on. The white LED glows when the ScreenPlay Director is powered up. If the LED is off, press the Power button on the remote control or the front of the ScreenPlay Director to turn it on. The LED will blink while the ScreenPlay Director powers up, then glow steadily. Make sure you are using an Iomega 802.11n WiFi adapter that is qualied specically for ScreenPlay Director. Other WiFi adapters will not work correctly. Make sure the WiFi adapter is securely connected to one of the USB host ports on the back of the ScreenPlay Director. Make sure you have set up the wireless network conguration. Refer to the instructions on page 3. Wait a few minutes and then try connecting to the ScreenPlay Director again. Try rebooting your computer and connecting to the ScreenPlay Director again. Make sure the computer you are using to connect to the ScreenPlay Director is on the same subnet or network segment as the ScreenPlay Director.
