When playing from ipod audio is bright with good bass Audio from radio lacks top end so it sounds like listing with cotton wool in your ears. This dock has one of the best sounds around. The bass especially puts more expensive systems to shame especially my JBL Harman Kardon iDock.

Got the AJ301D today for $99 at BigW Awesome Value! Just bought one last week. I love it. I wanted to get logitech, I was almost billing and saw this unit. This unit has two major flaws. You cannot control the alarm volume, which means it gets ridiculously loud, and has to be turned off immediately.

Happy. This is a very practical piece - clock alarm docking station and it sounds ok for the money!
