Microsoft Money 2005 The effortless way to handle day-to-day finances
It is easy to get started with Prudential Retirement and Microsoft Money 2005. With Prudential Retirement, you can monitor your accounts whenever you want. You dont have to wait for a paper statement because account activity is available to you online. Its easy to get up and running.
New Microsoft Money 2005 User
1. When you first start Microsoft Money 2005, you can Accept using Microsoft.NET Passport to help secure your file and manage your online passwords, or you can decline and use a local password on your file.
2. Select the type of account you want to create (banking, credit card, or investment). Click the first letter of your financial institutions name, and then select your financial institution (Prudential Retirement). Click Next.
3. Indicate that you have signed up with your financial institution to use Microsoft Money and that you have your sign-in information. Enter your User ID and Password and then click Next to download your account information.
4. Microsoft Money 2005 will automatically download the latest information for you so that your accounts are current. Just tell Microsoft Money how far back you want to download account transactions. 5. If you use a Microsoft.NET Passport, Microsoft Money can download statement information regularly for you. Just tell Microsoft Money how frequently you want to update.
6. Thats all it takes! Your accounts are now set up for online services in Microsoft Money 2005. Now you can take a tour of Microsoft Money 2005, enter bills, create a budget, or set up more accounts, or you can do any of these tasks later.
7. Click Finish and Microsoft Money shows your accounts and balances and a preliminary spending category chart. Its that easy!
Current Microsoft Money User
1. If Microsoft Money 2005 did not detect your most recently used file, on the File menu, click Open to locate and upgrade your latest Microsoft Money file. 2. In the left pane of the Microsoft Money 2005 Home page, click Manage Online Services.
3. Click the link under the To Do column to the left of your financial institutions name.
4. Select the type of account you want to create (banking, credit card, or investment). Click the first letter of your financial institutions name, and then select your financial institution (Prudential Retirement). Click Next.
5. Indicate that you have signed up with Prudential Retirement to use Microsoft Money and that you have your sign-in information. Enter your User ID and Password and then click Next to download your account information.
6. Microsoft Money 2005 automatically downloads the latest information for you so that your accounts are current. Just tell Microsoft Money how far back you want to download account transactions. 7. If you use a Microsoft.NET Passport, Microsoft Money can download statement information regularly for you. Just tell Microsoft Money how frequently you want to update.
8. Microsoft Money 2005 downloads online accounts. If your file had non-online enabled accounts, you may see duplicate accounts. To combine the accounts, under Tasks, click Merge Duplicate Accounts.
9. Carefully match existing accounts with the newly downloaded accounts to merge them.
You Are Now Ready to Connect!
If you are using a Microsoft.NET Passport with your Microsoft Money file, Microsoft Money 2005 will download your statement information based on the schedule you selected.

As East West Bank completes a system migration, you will need to modify certain information in your MS Money software to ensure a smooth transition of your data. You must complete the following steps after the conversion date: August 15, 2008. To ensure that your Personal Financial Management Banking service is updated properly, kindly follow the enclosed instructions in the exact order that it is presented. If you have any questions regarding these instructions, please contact us at (888) 895-5650, and an East West Bank customer service representative will be available to assist you from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm on Monday to Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. You may also visit the East West Bank website at www.eastwestbank.com to obtain a copy of the instruction.

STEP A.

BACK UP YOUR CURRENT MONEY DATA
From the Microsoft Money menu choose File, then Backup.

STEP B.

PERFORM INTERNET UPDATE / MERGE ACCOUNTS
1. On the Tools menu, point to Internet Updates and then click Update Now. 2. Check the Download cleared transactions option. 3. Enter the Direct Connect User ID and PIN and click Update.
NOTE: After download is completed your existing account will have a new Account Number.
