What is NETGEARs RangeMax Next Wireless-N?
The RangeMax Next Wireless-N USB 2.0 Adapter, based on Wireless-N technology, provides 15X the speed and 10X the range compared to 802.11g adapters, when paired with a Wireless-N Router. It is backward compatible with legacy 802.11b/g wireless standard products. Smart Wizard simplifies setup and Touchless WiFi Security makes connecting to secure networks simple and fast. The WN111 can plug in to any of the USB ports of your notebook or desktop computer to upgrade it to highspeed Wireless-N. The small form factor and performance of WN111 is made possible with the use of patented Micro Antenna technology. The WN111 secures enough bandwidth and range to support file sharing, MP3 downloads, Internet phone calls, network gaming and multimedia applications all simultaneously and at consistent speeds.
Maximum performance requires use with RangeMax Next Wireless-N Routers.
