The iR3180C/Ci is set by default to print in black and white, but you can opt to utilise Canons Auto-Colour Sensing (ACS) technology for the ultimate in smart colour printing. ACS automatically detects whether a page, or pages within a document, contain colour, ensuring you only pay for colour when its used.

Prevent users collecting the wrong document or finding confidential documents at printer. Mailboxes can be set up for individuals and groups of users, storing documents until the released by the user at the device.

You can easily prioritise your workload with the new Print Job feature. Jobs can be viewed and repositioned within the print queue whenever your needs are pressing. Secure and encrypted jobs are hidden by an asterix and, by using Single Sign On (SSO), only your jobs are viewable when you access the device.

1 Professional finishing

For heavier workloads the Finisher Q3 (not shown) provides 50 sheet stapling and two trays with a maximum 1,000 sheet capacity. The innovative internal finisher P1 provides the power to stack and staple your documents without taking up office space. This innovative finisher is incorporated within the machines footprint, corner or double stapling up to 50 sheets, with a generous stack tray capacity of 500 sheets.

The device adheres to the strictest environmental standards such as RoHS, which restricts the use of hazardous substances. The device and the HDD Data Encryption Kit containing the Canon MFP Security Chip 1.00, qualify for EAL3 status under the Common Criteria Program (ISO15408). Using MEAP (Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform), Canons device embedded Java based application platform, enables new and customised software to be incorporated directly within your device. 2 Hole puncher

Two or four hole punching can be carried out automatically with the hole puncher.
Alternatively, an additional feeder (not shown) can be attached for address printing directly onto envelopes.
3 Document feeder/image reader
A 50 sheet document feeder helps cope with scanning and sizeable copy runs, accommodating documents with different sized pages up to 128gsm. The image reader combined with Universal Send enables you to scan documents which can be sent instantly to email addresses, mailboxes and network folders.
