Multiple configuration possibilities
This module enables the EPSON TM printer to be a drop-in replacement for an older NCR 7150 or 7152 printer on an NCR 7450, 7452, or 7052 terminal. When the terminal is replaced, the printer can stay with the new system by simply changing the Connect-It module to one that uses the interface needed by the new terminal.
Electronic journal for easy electronic record keeping
The optional Electronic Journal (EJ) captures all print data automatically. The standard option is 2 MB of EJ, which will hold roughly 7 rolls of journal paper information. When the EJ option is selected users can select to retrieve this information easily at the printer or at the host where the data has been downloaded. The information stored in the EJ is stored in the NAND memory, which is nonvolatile; allowing it to remain intact when the power is off on the printer.
