The information in this section refers to materials restricted by regulation or law and applies to parts, components and products sold by HP. This product does not contain: Asbestos Cadmium as a stabilizer, coloring agent or surface coating treatment. Lead carbonates or sulfates are not contained in any paint applied. Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), halons, HCFCs, HBFCs, 1,1,1 trichloroethane, carbon tetrachloride or methyl bromide. Chlorinated or brominated dioxins or furans are not present at a concentration that is currently prohibited by law.
Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) or polychlorinated terphenyls (PCT). Plastic parts do not contain polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) or polybrominated biphenyl ethers (PBBEs) (also known as polybrominated biphenyl oxides (PBBOs)). Halogenated flame-retardants are not used in the housing plastics. This product complies with the requirements of the European Union's Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS).
