The Konica 7165 Departmental Document System puts production-level functionality where it belongs, at the fingertips of the people who create documents. With high-speed printing, copying and production finishing capabilities, the Konica 7165 offers true print-on-demand functionality at the touch of a screen. The 7165 is built on a completely new engine design developed for greater productivity. With a smaller footprint, enhanced scanning technology, and the ability to handle up to 110 lb. index from all drawers, this 65 page-per-minute printer/copier exceeds all standards for a high-volume printer/copier. The new enhanced touch screen includes improved visual graphics which makes using this document system truly user-friendly. Toner can now be changed on-the-fly which also reduces down-time. The 7165 uses polymerized toner, a toner whose particles are more uniform allowing for more detail in characters in your output. The Konica 7165.designed for todays office environment.

Scan Directly to Email:
Konica 7165 is the first in Konicas product line to offer direct scan-to-email. This function enables the user to create an address book and has the capability to attach files that are stored on the hard drive. File conversion to PDF format directly also gives the creator the security of knowing that the file stored cannot be changed or corrupted by multiple users.

The newly designed 7165 has the capability to handle up to 110 lb. index from any drawer. Combine this with the multi-post sheet inserter which is great for booklet covers and inserts and your departmental document system is perfect for the production of quality booklets, pamphlets and reports.
Enhanced Touch Screen Visuals:
The Konica 7165s touch screens have been enhanced for your visibility. Brightness of color, clarity and less abbreviated text maximizes the overall appearance of the touch screen. This is a modular control panel that can be tilted to reduce glare and offer section 508 compliance.

The 7165 is the perfect tool for professionally printed documents. The newly designed 7165 not only offers standard finishing capabilities such as saddle-stitching, three-hole punching, 8-position stapling with a 2,500 sheet output capacity, and booklet making mode with a maximum of 80 page booklet capability, it allows the user to three-fold which is great for pamphlets and self-mailers.

At a lightning speed of 65 pages per minute, the Konica 7165 can produce stunning results at high quality 600dpi resolution. With the addition of the IP511 Print Controller, the Konica 7165 has enough internal memory to store frequently used forms and custom fonts, providing off-set-like services at a fraction of the cost and with a minimum lead time. Its large paper tray capacity can increase from 2,600 sheets (including a 100sheet bypass) to 6,600 sheets. Improved Paper Capability:

Real-Time dual scanning technology:
100 originals scanned face up from the document feeder pass over the fixed scanner, reducing moving parts and improving performance and reliability. A sheet-through scanning process reduces the number of moving parts by allowing the scanner to remain fixed while the originals are scanned.

Scan to Email:

Save valuable time by scanning materials at the console and sending them directly as an e-mail attachment. Simply input the recipients address using the touch panel and send high quality images at once.

600 dpi resolution:

Prints and copies are both produced in brilliant 600 dpi resolution. Also, Scan documents and print scanned files without the controller with the JobEditor (freeware).
