Versatile scanning

The bizhub 163/211 can be connected to a PC via their standard USB 2.0 interface and used as local TWAIN scanners to scan originals up to A3 size. Equipped with the optional network interface card (NC-503) or the IC-206 print controller, TWAIN scanning is also possible via the network. And these options also enhance the bizhub 163/211s scanning functionality with: n Scan-to-eMail lets users attach scanned documents directly to an e-mail message as a TIFF or PDF file, providing a highly convenient way to distribute information to colleagues and customers. n With scan-to-FTP scanned data are sent directly to an FTP server and stored in specified directories another easy way of converting paper documents to digital data to share information over the network.
