Power consumption HP fusers utilize far less power in ready mode. For instance, the HP LaserJet 4200 uses only 27 watts in ready mode compared to 77 watts for the Lexmark T630.

Cost per page Lexmarks high-capacity toner cartridges dont always cost less per page when you compare price vs. yield. In fact, HP LaserJet 4200 toner can cost anywhere from 19% less to 36% less per page than Lexmark T630 toner. In addition, Lexmark cartridges may require more interventions because users have to shake them periodically unlike HPs shake-free toner cartridges.2 Print-server appliance (PSA) HP network PSAs ensure faster printing, greater device uptime, and increased availability by creating a dedicated printing infrastructure that offloads your network servers, contains network traffic, and provides end-to-end control over the entire printing process. Lexmark does not offer a print-server appliance. Reliability HP is the only printing and imaging vendor to receive an A rating or better in PC Magazines Service and Reliability Survey for 12 consecutive years. Lexmark usually earns a B rating but has earned a D for the last two years.3
