Cheap Yes it was cheap, but even at that price I expected better text quality. Colour print is acceptable but text is blurred and grey.

Cheap Yes it was cheap, but even at that price I expected better text quality. Colour print is acceptable but text is blurred and grey. Newegg is awesome as always! Incredible delivery time! Very inexpensive Dell replacement (Lexmark makes Dell printers! I saw no ink listed to stock up through neweggs nice prices, shame. The software says there isnt a driver but there is and works just fine too.

I used the x1270 for about 6 weeks and then it stopped function. I should have returned this printer when it came packaged with the wrong drivers. I bought a new system for my dad from Best Buy last week.

When I got a new computer, we got a new printer to go with it. My mother ended up buying this printer, which also happens to have a scanner. Nice looking, performs well with XP. Not compatible with VISTA

Whilst the Lexmark X1270 will probably never earn any awards for its looks which, in my opinion, leave much to be desired.

Least exspensive ink refills around, though as mentioned the cartridges are near the same color. I like the way the cartridges go in so easy. Speedy,... Major con.

Bought from Currys in Jan 08, an all round decent all in one printer for £30 including ink cartridges.

I bought this about 9 months ago,and for the next 6 months it was OK but not brilliant. Why pay more. It does everying so easily. Instructions come on CD & load at same time as installation. I HAVE JUST BOUGHT MINE TO-DAY FROM LASKYS FOR £34. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS VERY GOOD. UNTIL WHEN IT WAS UNPACKED IT DOES NOT COME WITH A USB CABLE.

Lexmarks new all-in-ones raise the bar on value and ease of use in home printing
- New toolbar optimises printing of Web content Lexmark International today introduced three new all-in-one (AIO) printers that deliver industry-leading value and ease of use for the home printing market. The new Lexmark X3480 and X2470 AIOs offer some of the best values in the industry for feature-rich direct photo printing and reliable everyday print, scan and copy functionality. The X3480 and X2470 also include the new Lexmark Web Toolbar, which makes it quick and easy to print pages, text and photos from the Web. The new Lexmark X1270 is the industrys price-leading AIO, combining high quality printing, scanning and copying in a compact, stylish design. Our new family of all-in-ones gives your family the capability to do more, whether you are printing homework, Web pages, photos or other everyday documents. These reliable, easy-to-use all-in-ones represent a terrific value, said Najib Bahous, Lexmark vice president and president of its Consumer Printer Division. Lexmark X3480 AIO with Premium Photo Features The new Lexmark X3480 AIO was designed for home users who demand a reliable multifunction printer with broad general purpose functionality at an affordable price. With premium photo features, print speeds up to 17 ppm, as well as a 48-bit colour scanner and colour copier, the versatile X3480 is a perfect choice for consumers who need one machine to do it all. With PictBridge, card slots, and Lexmark's first scannable photo proof sheet, the X3480 makes photo printing a snap. Working directly from a memory card, users can print a proof sheet that displays thumbnail images of all their photos, then select the images they wish to print by marking directly onto the proof sheet. They can then scan the sheet to print brilliant, borderless 4x6-inch photos automatically.
