1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the contact side, (left side) of the cartridge (Fig. 1).

2. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry off the contact side end cap. Start with the locking tab on the top of the end cap (Fig. 2).

3. Work the flat-head screwdriver around the end cap to pry it off. Contact side end cap configuration (Fig 3).

4. Use needle nose pliers to remove the contact spring. Notice the spring configuration (Fig 4).

5. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the top of the cartridge (Fig. 5).

6. Separate the cartridge top from the bottom and clean both with compressed air or vacuum. (Fig. 6).

7. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the top of the PCR cleaner (Fig. 7). Remove the PCR cleaner and vacuum or blow off any residual toner. Inspect for damage.
8. Lift up on the contact side PCR saddle while pulling up on the PCR drive gear. Lift and slide the PCR to the right and out of the contact side saddle (Fig. 8).

9. Slide the PCR to the left and out of the gear side saddle. Clean the PCR with compressed air or vacuum, water, and a lint free cloth (Fig. 9).

10. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the gear side end cap, (right side) of the cartridge (Fig. 10).

11. Work the flat-head screwdriver around the end cap to pry it off. Notice gear configuration. Remove and clean gears with compressed air or vacuum if necessary. Lubricate with white lithium grease (Fig.11).

12. Remove the OPC drum and clean with compressed air or vacuum and a lint free cloth (Fig.12).
13. Use needle nose pliers to pull the gear off the developer roller (Fig. 13).

14. Use needle nose pliers to carefully pull the sealing washer off the gear side of the developer roller (Fig. 14).

Fig. 15 15. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to release the locking tab on the bottom of the developer roller plate. There is a top locking tab that will disengage when the bottom of the plate is pried out. Be careful not to damage the foam seal attached to the roller plate and the flat plastic developer roller washer (Fig. 15).
16. Pull the developer roller out through the plate opening. Be careful not to lose or damage the flat washers on the roller. Clean the developer roller with compressed air or vacuum followed by isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth (Fig. 16).

17. Oasis highly recommends cleaning the doctor blade in place. Clean the doctor blade with a cotton swab dampened in alcohol. For heavy toner build up, use acetone and then alcohol. Be careful not to press too hard and damage the delicate blade (Fig. 17). Note: Removing the doctor blade involves cutting through seals and may result in toner leakage. Follow the instructions in the Oasis Tech Tips section (steps 20 and 21) if removal of the doctor blade is necessary.

18. Use needle nose pliers to remove the OEM Chip. Replace the chip with the appropriate aftermarket chip (Fig. 18).

19. Fill hopper with 75 grams of toner and reassemble cartridge in reverse order.
Oasis Tech Tips Doctor Blade Removal
20. Use a utility knife to cut through the vertically placed sealing foam on both corners of the doctor blade (Fig. 20). Remove the doctor blade and clean or replace.

21. With the doctor blade replaced, add a strip of 0.25 inch rail sealing foam to seal both corners (Fig. 21).
