256 Mb RAM is barely enough to run Win XP...ACER ought to standardize on at least 512 Mb, instead of forcing an upgrade.

I bought this computer a few months ago for only £235 including VAT and delivery. Pre-spring2006 games. In conclusion, The Acer Aspire T130 is a brilliant starter PC. For the gamer on a budget.

This item shows the actual CPU internal level L1/L2 cache size This item allows you to adjust the CPU clock to 200MHz. You can key-in the numbers within the range to make a precise and ideal adjustment. When the motherboards clock generator pulses, the extreme values (spikes) of the pulses creates EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). The spread Spectrum function reduces the EMI generated by modulating the pulses so that the spikes of the pulses are reduced to flatter curves. If you do not have any EMI problem, leave the setting at Disabled for optimal system stability and performance. But if you are plagued by EMI, setting to Enabled for EMI reduction. Remember to disable Spread Spectrum if you are overlocking because even a slight jitter can introduce a temporary boost in clockspeed which may just cause your overlock ed processor to lock up. 100~250MHz
