Exceptional Mixed Format Editing
Featuring unrivaled real-time video transcoding technology, EDIUS converts between HD and SD resolutions, aspect ratios, and frame ratesall in real time. You can edit in HD and place 4:3 SD video, or mix NTSC and PAL sources, or combine them all into projects in other resolutions and frame rates without wasting a single moment on conversion or rendering.

Preview monitor now supports fullscreen mode. You can also rotate the screenvery useful for creating content for digital signage projects.

Track Patches

New track patches allow easy mapping of source materials. You can also apply editing commands to multiple tracks.

Free Shape Mask

Free shape mask filter allows you to select an area on the screen using points and/or bezier curves.

AVCHD Writer

Write back AVCHD files to removable media (e.g., SD card), or other playback devices supporting the AVCHD format.

Metadata Handling

Clip metadata is displayed in the bin window. You can also search for clips by metadata information.

Trimming

New trim functions combine keyboard and mouse movements.

Source Browser

The Source Browser automatically displays file-based assets and also shows file metadata below. Files can be edited directly from the media, or can be transferred to the local drive as a background process.

Improved Multicam Mode

View and edit up to 16 channels. Both source and selected camera views can be displayed in fullscreen mode.
