very enhanced missing seperate brain Great when working. Nice Display. Feature Rich. Horrible Service/Repairs. No replacement seperate brains.

VRX755VD and iPod interface (CCA649)
NOTE: The VRX755VD with the CCA649 (iPod interface cable) is only compatible with the following Apple iPods: Third Generation, Version 2.2 Forth Generation, Version 3.01/3.02 iPod Mini, Version 1.2 (iPod with versions other than stated above may not operate and/or operate improperly. First and second generation iPods are not compatible.) Apple iPod Operation: Once the iPod is connected to the CCA649 cable, select the iPod mode by either pressing the (SOURCE) button or by touching the iPod icon on the source menu. (When the iPod is connected to the CCA649, the iPod buttons are disabled.) When the VRX755VD is in iPod mode, a special iPod menu will appear on the screen. The VRX755VD can display the song title, artist name, and album title of tracks recorded on the iPod. When no track data is present, the title display will remain blank. If the VISUAL AUX SENS setting is changed during visual mode, the playback volume during iPod mode will be adjusted on the VRX755VD. While the iPod is connected to the CCA649, the equalizer function is turned OFF. The remote control for the VRX755VD cannot be used to perform scan, repeat or random play functions. 2-Zone Function: If Visual mode is selected for Sub Zone, the 2-Zone function will be cancelled when the iPod is connected. When the iPod is connected, playback is supported only when Sub Zone is set to DVD mode. When connecting the iPod, the iPod mode can only be selected in the Main Zone, regardless of the ON/OFF setting of the 2-Zone function. Precautions: Regarding battery consumption: When the iPods internal battery becomes depleted, the recharge warning indicator will appear on the iPods display. In this condition, the iPod can no longer used until the battery is recharged. Note: The VRX755VD does not recharge the internal battery of the iPod.

With its iPod-like onscreen layout and information screen, users will forget their iPod is safely stowed away. Best of all, this dedicated iPod solution won't sacrifice the unit's additional A/V input. The VRX755VD is also a full-feature multimedia station offering a seven-inch flip-out monitor, and a built-in DVD player that also offers CD and MP3 playback. The unit will also control Clarion's 5.1-channel processor, Sirius Satellite Radio, TV Tuner, and CD and DVD changer via its CeNET bus system. For flexibility, the VRX755VD comes equipped with Clarion's 2 Zone Entertainment, which allows users to watch and listen to two separate sources at the same time. For sound quality, the VRX755VD comes loaded with features, such as 24-Bit D/A converters, 3-band parametric EQ, Clarion's Magna Bass EX, and more.
