| I have only had my DVP642 for less than 2 years (I paid $60 at Wal*Mart) when it suddenly would no longer recognize any of the DivX avi discs and DVDs... My previous system was Go-Video DVD-VCR combo, which I still use as a VCR. Boy, am I happy with this!! I almost bought it by accident a couple of years back. This must be my best electronics buy ever! A nice unit. | |

| Had this since it came out. Worth the money if you have a large divx-xvid collection as I do. This is a great DVD player. Had it over 2 years already and still using it. Plays just about everything and my mom loves it too. | |

| Ive had this unit for a few years now. I wanted it so I could play movies from over seas and also movies set in Dvix, SVCD, VCD, etc. Ive had this unit for a few years now.
