Our heaters suit large living spaces with a need for fast room heating. We have also created a traditional looking fire with realistic eucalypt logs. Cannon gas log heaters are built to a high standard specifically for the Australian market with attention to all details. Our highly efficient heat exchanger is backed by a 10 Year Warranty with 12 months on all other parts.
Cannons Powerflue has some unique installation and operation advantages.
Unlike standard gas log heaters, the Powerflue is terminated horizontally from the rear of the unit, eliminating the need for the flue to run up through the wall and protrude above the roofline. This means you can place the heater on any external wall, even in an apartment. Plus it is a room-sealed appliance, meaning all air for combustion is taken from outside, not from within your room. The combustion by-products are then vented externally via a fan in the flue ensuring that your home stays clean and fresh.
Standard heater operation. Flue goes directly through the ceiling and roof, or up through the wall cavity and above the roof line. Powerflue operation. Air is drawn in from outside for combustion and vented outside via a fan.

Creating the look of a fireplace is simple with Cannon.
The Mock Fireplace kit is designed specifically for homes that do not have an existing masonry fireplace. Using the kit, your In-built heater can be easily and safely installed into a combustible wall. Whether fluing through the wall cavity, the ceiling plaster or directly out an external wall, to conceal the heater cabinet and/or flue, simply construct a purpose built timber or plasterboard enclosure.
Accessory kits provide more installation options.
Cannon have been supplying the Australian market for over 15 years now and have developed a range of installation accessories that will allow you to install the heater you want in the location you want. So whether you are updating an existing gas heater, installing into a open fireplace, or placing a heater near an external wall the Cannon accessory kits will allow you to efficiently create the finished look.
1. Choose your desired location and construct the framework that will enclose the heater according to your fluing requirements. Be sure to allow for the required clearances between the heater cabinet and combustible surfaces.
2. Attach the mock fireplace kit to the heater as per the instructions. Position the heater into the framework then install the flue.
3. Finish with plasterboard (or timber panelling) to enclose the framework, maintaining appropriate clearances.
Console kits. The console kit is a decorative cover that fits over the rear of the heater to allow installation against an existing wall without building a mock wall or installing a mantle piece.
Spacer kit. When installing into a shallow fireplace cavity the 50mm spacer kit helps to provide the minimum 50mm clearance at the rear by bringing the heater forward.
Surround kit. This decorative surround allows the heater to be installed into existing fireplaces where the fireplace opening is wider than the heater height and/or width.

The clever design allows you to place the heater on any external wall, even in an apartment. And, because the Powerflue uses outside air for combustion, your home stays clean fresh and warm. Freestanding (FITZPFS-02)
A 10 amp socket within 1.5m is needed for the fan. Gas connection via a 12 copper compression fitting. Heater does not require non-combustible base. Can be installed against a combustible wall with clearances of 40mm rear, 40mm side, 1000mm to ceiling and 900mm in front of heater. Optional accessories: Cathedral ceiling flue box. Flue kit comprising: 3 x 900mm lengths of 125mm dia. painted flue, 1 x 900mm length of 125mm dia. plain flue, 1 x ceiling ring, 1 x 125mm cowl.
