Ground wire

Remove the left hand fairing. Using the supplied velcro attach the Power Commander to the face of the battery. Mount the Power Commander as far right as possible and make sure the top of the Power Commander contacts the battery bracket (Fig. A). Attach the ground wire from the Power Commander to the negative side of the battery. (Fig. A). Route the wiring harness from the Power Commander under the air box and towards the right hand side of the bike. Locate the stock wiring harness going into the bottom right hand side of the air box (Fig. B). Unscrew this connector.

Screw the Power Commander harness in-line of the stock wiring harness (Fig.C). Reinstall the fairing.
