The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet handles like a dream as if it was glued to the road. Acceleration is mind blowing!

The Natural Choice for Porsche
Porsche 911 Sport Classic No. 157 of 250.
An extraordinary statement, the 911 Sport Classic was produced in a limited run worldwide of only 250 - and this is number 157. All of the cars were finished in Sport Classic Grey with a Cocoa leather interior, and the fantastic duck tail spoiler. The wheels are reminiscent of the Fuchs wheels from earlier 911s - this really is future retro and a homage to the best features of the 911 over the years. Featuring Porsche Ceramic Brakes, heated Adaptive Sports Seats, Sports Chrono Pack Plus and touchscreen navigation, it really defines fully loaded. The 3.8 litre engine offers 408 bhp and it comes complete with additional touches like backlit kick plates and, of course, the Limited Edition plaque on the dashboard. This is a stunning limited edition and also benefits from having only driven 72 miles. Thats not a typo - it really has driven only 72 miles from new in 2010. So if you are looking to acquire possibly the ultimate statement 911, here is the ultimate example.

Singer Porsche 911
Singer has a go at trumping the Sport Classic with its tweaked Porsche 911

Thought the 911 Sport Classic was the most retro new Porsche you could get your mitts on? Singer Vehicle Design has something to say about that. While the name isnt particularly clever Singer 911 what lies under the skin definitely is. Theres an air-cooled 3.82-litre flat-six engine with 419bhp and 340lb ft of torque, and with the help of a 911 GT3 crankshaft and titanium connecting rods as well as a six-speed Getrag manual box itll wind up to 8000rpm and hit 60mph in 3.9sec, making it the measure of most modern supercars. The top speed is over 170mph. The suspension is equally impressive, with Moton shocks and Eibach coil-over springs while the brakes are four-piston items from the Porsche 930. Theyre housed by some rather lovely forged three-piece Fuchs alloys. And while it looks decidedly old-school on the outside, nearly all of the body panels are new, carbonfibre ones (coated in lurid Racing Orange paint). Theres trick new active aerodynamics and a host of modern kit inside, while even the headlights are bi-xenon. Singer describes it as the love child of a 1967 911S, a Carrera RS and a RS. Prices havent been announced yet, but needless to say youll probably have to have fallen in love with the Singer 911 to justify the cost.
