Extremely overpriced for what it does. I guess it is great for people who don't normally cook or don't want to spend time in the kitchen. My family prefers my crispy oven fries over the Actifry ones. (And no mine are not loaded with oil or salt.) Even if it did make restaurant quality fries it is way over priced just for French Fries. Can't stand the cookbook that came with it. Do they think we dummies? I don't need 18 pages of what a balanced meal is nor do I need them to tell me what the Canada Food Guide has been saying for years. This is drilled into us at a very young age although some choose to ignore it. But the whole concept is based on healthy choices. A bit of overkill on the sales pitch I guess to convince you not to return it after using it. The real kicker is 12 pages of ways to spice fries differently. I'm sorry what a piece of junk. Anyone want to buy it?

Does exactly as advertised.I have cooked real chips,frozen chips and sausages.All very successful.Easy to clean.

I purchased one of these more as a hope. I hoped it would be better than a pan of oil on a hob. I hoped it would be better than a deep fat fryer.

To a demonstration of this Tefal Actifry and I watched the presenters prepare a batch of home cooked chips using only a spoonful of oil. I purchased one of these more as a hope. I hoped it would be better than a pan of oil on a hob. I hoped it would be better than a deep fat fryer.

Bought as a rather extravagant gift based solely on reviews. Being rather health conscious chips were served only rarely.

what a fantastic item the Actifry is the chips are crispy and grease less what a brilliant machine i would recommend it to anyone i know the chips tak... Makes lovely crispy chips with no odour using a spoonful of oil easy clean as its not a wire basket its just like cleaning a saucepan
