EU Energy efficiency information.
This scheme, which covers refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers and electric ovens is designed to offer consumers a standardised method of choosing the most energy efficient appliances. For refrigerators and freezers, as well as stating the energy efficiency class (A most efficient, G least efficient) the label also gives the annual electricity consumption (i.e. running cost) and the usable storage capacity. For washing machines the label also states the wash performance and spin efficiency. Three ratings are given to ensure energy efficiency combined with effective washing and drying. For dishwashers the label states energy efficiency, washing and drying performance. For electric ovens the label also states the energy consumption (in kWh) and the usable volume of the oven. If the oven is a double oven it will carry this information for both ovens.

Rotitherm roasting.

Heat produced by the top elements is circulated around the food by the fan. This clever setting gives the perfect authentic spit roast effect for meat, poultry and roasting potatoes; all the benets of a rotisserie without the mess.
Dual circuit variable grill.
Uses the inner and outer parts of the grill element to provide full width even grilling, ideal for larger portions. The heat is controllable.
Single circuit variable grill. Fan baking.
The True fan Ventitherm and base element combine together to give direct heat to the base of foods making this setting the perfect environment for baking. It is ideal for crisping the base of pizzas, quiches and cooking in dense cookware. Uses only the inner part of the grill element, ideal for smaller portions such as 2 pieces of toast. The heat is controllable and using one element is more energy efcient.

Moist fan baking.

This clever function uses the True fan Ventitherm setting whilst closing the ventilation valve therefore retaining more moisture in the oven cavity. This function is excellent for baking foods that require a moister cooking environment e.g. light uffy fatless sponges and baked soufs.

Base heat nishing.

Heat from the bottom element only. Perfect for reheating pies and pastries as it keeps the pastry crisp. It can also be used to warm plates.

Top heat browning.

A gentle heat from the top element only, ideal for browning lasagne or shepherds pie.

The healthier way to cook.
The AEG-Electrolux combination oven is the only full size multifunction single oven with steam. Steam is the chefs secret that helps them to create food that is crisp and golden while at the same time being delicious and succulent. Steam settings

Vigorous steam.

The steam generator works with a xed temperature at 96C, to deliver a constant ow of steam. Ideal for vegetables, rice and sh, it ensures that all the vitamins and nutrients are retained within the food.
Multifunction oven with steam.
Hot air and steam combine to deliver fantastic results with excellent health benets, in both taste and preservation. Restaurants have had this advantage for years and the AEG-Electrolux B98205M is the only full size oven on the market that offers multifunction cooking with three fully integrated steam functions. Food can be cooked to perfection with all the texture, colour and avour preserved. Food is crisp on the outside whilst moist and succulent on the inside, so it looks and tastes better. The steam also isolates the food cooking, so that avours do not mingle, meaning you can cook sweet and savoury at the same time. Cooking with steam is also a healthier option retaining a far higher level of nutrients, vitamins and minerals in the food reducing the need for fat and salt with the ability to give golden crispy results. The AEG-Electrolux oven evens steam cleans itself when the cooking is done.

Interval steam.

This unique feature alternates steam and fan cooking with 25% steam and 75% hot air. Food is crisp on the outside but moist and succulent on the inside, so it looks and tastes better. Ideal for roasting, baking and complete meal cooking.

Interval plus steam.

This feature alternates between steam and fan cooking using 50% steam and 50% hot air. Food doesnt dry out, and the quality is preserved, making it ideal for reheating prepared dishes or heating convenience food.

Steam cleaning.

A special preset cleaning programme, which utilises the vigorous steam function. It helps eliminate the need for commercial oven cleaners. Simply wipe out after the programme ends.

A host of advanced features offer you total control over your high-performance AEG-Electrolux cooling appliance. All fridge freezers feature an adjustable thermostat for easy adjustment of the internal temperature of the fridge freezer. The Coolmatic feature on fridges offers you fast chilling of fresh foods, whilst the Frostmatic feature quickly freezes food just placed in the freezer, ensuring all food is stored in optimum condition. Simple controls make operation easy and both Coolmatic and Frostmatic automatically switch off after a set period and return to normal temperature.

Advanced electronic interface.
Advanced electronic temperature controls are simple to use and ensure precise temperature control. The controls are child proof and the LCD /LED display provides reassurance that the optimum temperature is being maintained, providing the best conditions for your food. High Temperature Indicator signals if the temperature rises (such as during a power cut). Door Indicator (visual and/or audible) signals if the door is open. Service Indicator signals if there is a fault requiring technical assistance.

Energy efcient.

All AEG-Electrolux models are A or A+, designed to be the most economical cooling products you can buy, whilst silent technology means the noise output is minimal, contributing to a pleasant kitchen environment. Our cooling models are 100% CFC and HFC free. This means that they cause no harm to the ozone layer, and also do not contribute to the greenhouse effect.

Air purier system.

The air purier system puries the air that has been passed throughout the fridge and removes odours so they are not transported around the fridge.
Maintaining perfect conditions.
The holiday mode sets the temperature of the fridge cabinet to 14C without affecting the freezer. This is very useful particularly on occasions where the fridge will not be used for an extended period of time (e.g. holidays). The temperature set by the holiday mode allows the preservation of food such as butter and eggs and it prevents the creation of unpleasant odours whilst the door remains closed for a long period of time. Once back from holidays it will be easy for the fridge to recover to its normal temperature.

Salad drawer.

The extra large salad drawers with humidity control have dividers so that fruit and vegetables can be separated. The humidity control prolongs the life of your fruit and vegetables, keeping them fresh for longer. The glide out runners make loading and unloading extremely easy.

The chill compartment.

The chill compartment operates at a temperature of 1C to 3C, extending the life of chilled food. Ideal for storage of fresh meat and sh.

Precision cooling.

The AEG-Electrolux precision cooling system distributes cold air throughout the fridge ensuring an even temperature is maintained for perfect cooling on every shelf. The internal space can be fully utilised giving you more food storage space.

The optimum wash performance.

Control.

Time save.
For total control over the duration of the wash, the time save option offers three settings normal, quick and very quick - reducing the time of the programme whilst still providing an A rated wash. Reduce the wash time by up to 25% for a 6kg (30shirts) load at 60C by pressing the button once and up to 60% by pressing it twice.

Innovative programmes.

For optimum wash results, AEG-Electrolux washing machines offer an outstanding range of programmes. The wool plus programme gently rocks woollens at 40C for an effective yet sensitive clean. The delicate programme is designed for mixed fabrics found in delicate clothes.

Eco wash system.

The eco wash system ensures maximum wash efciency as it prevents any loss of detergent. The eco valve ensures that all the detergent stays in the wash drum by closing the drain area completely.

Delay start.

Ensures laundry is ready exactly when required, reducing creasing and musty odours.

Aqua control.

An internal system monitors the water level to detect any possible leaks in the inlet pipe or wash drum. This completely eliminates any possibility of ooding.

Easy iron.

The easy iron option reduces the need for ironing by up to 50% through actively reducing creases in fabric caused throughout the wash and spin cycle.
Refresh programme. Sensor drying.
All our AEG-Electrolux washer dryer laundry appliances give you exceptional drying results and total control. Simply choose the required level of dryness from machine iron for slightly damp clothes to extra dry for ready-towear clothes. The machine will sense when the clothes are dried to the specied levels and automatically stop the machine. With the sensor dryer, you do not need to keep checking if your clothes are dried and you also save on energy costs and avoid over drying as well. Refresh is a quick wash programme for lightly soiled or worn once clothes which is great at removing any odours and refreshing clothes. In the refresh programme up to 3kg (15 shirts) of clothes are washed at 30 C.

Sensitive option (washers only).
Designed specically for those who are extra sensitive to dirt, dust and pollen, this programme is suitable for cotton and synthetics. The fabric is gently moved around while an extra rinse option ensures that any particles are effectively rinsed away.

Variomatic spins.

Alternating progressively faster spinning with frequent tumbling stages provides the best possible wash results with minimal creasing.
