TEST RESULTS
Receive sensitivity for DAB/DAB+ signal
The test is performed in a 3 meter semi anechoic chamber. Test signal: The 1kHz DAB signal from generator R&S SFE Broadcast Tester, on channel 12D(229.072MHz) with data rate 192kbit/s. The speech DAB+ signal from generator R&S SFE Broadcast Tester, on channel 8A(195.936MHz) with data rate 96kbit/s. EUT configuration during test: EUT was placed on an isopod table with a height of 150 cm with the front facing the transmitting antenna and turn around 360deg. See the pictures in chapter 5 for test setup. EUT mode during test: The EUT was tested in operating (receiving) mode. Performance: At the start a -30dBm DAB or DAB+ signal was sent from DAB-generator to the antenna placed 3m from EUT. The EUT receives test signal and play it on the EUTs speaker. The sound from EUTs speaker was picked up by a microphone and amplifier. This sound/signal was led out of the chamber and connected to an oscilloscope and speaker for monitoring. The level of DAB signal generator was then adjusted until click or disturbance on the audio was detected. This was then noted as the sensitivity level. Results: Receive sensitivity for DAB signal DAB+ signal with Mono channel DAB+ signal with Stereo channel Level (dBuV/m) 35.5 38.9 Not available
Comment: The relationship between signal generator level and the field strength at the receiving antenna position was calibrated before the test.

Consumed power operating with using 240VAC
The test is performed in a acoustic chamber. Test signal: The 1kHz DAB signal from generator R&S SFE Broadcast Tester. EUT configuration during test: EUT was placed on a table with a height of 80 cm with the front facing the microphone and the distance is 30/40/50cm.
Microphone
50cm EUT 40cm
See the pictures in chapter 5 for test setup. EUT mode during test: The EUT was tested in receiving mode when the sound level measured 75dBspl at the position of microphone. Performance: The 1kHz/-30dBm DAB signal was sent from generator to the antenna placed 50cm above the EUT. The EUT receives test singal and play out of the speaker. The sound from speaker will be recorded by the microphone and measure/adjust to 75dBspl by using volum control on the radio. A power meter used to measure the power when the sound is 75dBspl.
Results: Consumed power operating with 240VAC (using AC/DC adapter) Power (W) 4.6
Comment: None
