With the introduction of the V40 Series, Samsung continues to demonstrate the quality and reliability of its SpinPoint hard disk drive products. Incorporating an advanced mechanical platform designed to minimize the intensity of external shock transmitted to the most critical components, the V40 Series improves on its already competitive shock protection capability to industry-leading 350G. In addition, the V40 Series also maintains the top-of-the-class acoustic performance both during idle and seek conditions with Samsung's NoiseGuard and SilentSeek technologies. The 3.5-inch high-performance hard drive SV8004H incorporates high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) based architecture and offers 5, 400-rpm spindle speed. Plus, it offers Ultra DMA 100 support and 7-way interleave OTF Error Correction.
