|Very poor performance. Dont buy this product,is only a toy compared with a petrol one.You have to be as careful with an electric saw as a petrol,each can be as dangerous.|

Gasoline Systems As the leading automotive supplier, Bosch believes that the internal-combustion engine will continue to be the dominant automotive powertrain over the next 20 years. Despite this, Bosch is also working intensively on the electrification of the powertrain.
The electric motor develops power in a minimum of space. It performs two functions: as a motor, it allows electric driving over short distances; as a generator, it feeds braking energy back into the battery.
In the Electric Vehicles and Hybrid Systems business unit, some 500 Bosch specialists are currently developing solutions both for hybrid applications and for purely electric driving.
The SB LiMotive joint ventures first major order was to supply lithium-ion battery cells for installation in BMWs Megacity Vehicle. The company was established by Bosch and Samsung SDI in 2008, and currently employs some 500 associates.

Diesel Systems In modern diesel engines, Bosch diesel injection systems make a significant contribution to reducing fuel consumption as well as CO2 emissions. The CP4 common-rail pump, for example, builds up pressure especially fast, and so is suitable for economical start-stop operation. With solutions like this, diesel consumption can be further reduced by some 30 percent over the next few years. By the beginning of 2010, Bosch had manufactured three million CP4 pumps.
At the Stuttgart-Feuerbach location, Bosch associates test the function and tightness of the CP4 pump, which is used in the common-rail system.

Chassis Systems Bosch further expanded its international ABS manufacturing network in 2009: It was the first automotive supplier to open an ABS manufacturing facility in India at its Chakan (Pune) location. Up to now, the company has manufactured more than 200 million brake control systems at eight sites worldwide.

Automotive Electronics In March 2010, Bosch opened a new wafer fab for eight-inch wafers in Reutlingen, Germany. In the future, the plant will manufacture semiconductors and micromechanical components. With a total volume of 600 million euros, the new wafer fab is the largest single investment in the history of the Bosch Group. When construction is completed (scheduled for 2016), as many as one million microchips will be made every day. By this time, approximately 800 people will be employed in the new factory.
Under laboratory conditions in our corporate sector Research and Advance Engineering, we are improving materials and processes in order to make MEMS sensors for cars even smaller and more robust. This will provide the basis for control processes that further reduce fuel consumption.

Automotive Aftermarket With its exchange program, Bosch is the worlds leading supplier of remanufactured parts. Remanufactured parts mean that auto parts dealers and vehicles repair garages can offer their customers an economical alternative with the same guarantee as for new parts. Apart from economic aspects, remanufactured parts have the benefit of being eco-friendly. The exchange program, with its Bosch Exchange and HC-Parts brands, currently comprises some 9,000 parts from 27 product groups.

Solar Energy To allow photovoltaics to contribute a substantial share of a future renewable energy mix, and so that it can generate electricity at prices that can compete with conventional forms of energy, Bosch Solar Energy is continuously improving the efficiency of its cells and modules. At the companys German locations in Erfurt and Arnstadt, Bosch Solar Energy covers the main stages of the photovoltaic value-added chain from the manufacture of monocrystalline ingots and wafers to the production of mono- and polycrystalline solar cells and thin-film solar modules.

2.30 meters long, 21 centimeters thick, over 170 kilograms in weight an ingot of monocrystalline silicon manufactured at Bosch Solar Energy in Erfurt, Germany. One of its strengths is the filling of liquid pharmaceuticals into syringes, ampoules, injection vials, or syringe cartridges. In the pharmaceuticals industry, safety is particularly vital. Clean-room technology allows medicines and other pharmaceutical products to be filled under sterile conditions.

Power Tools In 2009, as in previous years, Bosch Power Tools again generated around 35 percent of its sales with products that had been on the market for less than two years. The company launched more than 120 new and improved power tools last year, complemented by numerous new accessories.
Bosch is one of the pioneers of cordless power tools that use lithium-ion technology. This technology means that the new generation of the Isio grass and shrub shears is significantly lighter and more compact.
With its AKE 30 LI, Bosch is launching the worlds first chainsaw to feature a 36V lithium-ion battery. This saws energy consumption is ten times less than that of a gasoline power saw.

Thermotechnology By 2015, Bosch wants to double the share of Thermotechnology sales accounted for by solar thermal systems, electric heat pumps, and solid-fuel boilers to 30 percent. In addition, following the acquisition of the large-scale boiler manufacturer Loos Deutschland GmbH, the company wants to further expand its position on the commercial and industrial heating systems market and strengthen its competence in project business for industrial premises. This was also the reason for the acquisition of Khler & Ziegler Anlagentechnik GmbH, a manufacturer of cogeneration plants.
In 2009, Loos generated sales of approximately 90 million euros with its roughly 530 associates. Here we can see a large boiler being manufactured.

Extracting energy from the ground this is made possible by the electric heat pumps Bosch Thermotechnology produces in Florida (USA) and Sweden. The heat pumps not only provide highly energy-efficient support for heating but also, whenever necessary, for cooling buildings.

Security Systems The Bosch Security Systems division employs some 11,600 associates worldwide. The company supplies high-quality security and communication products, solutions, and services.

Research and development
Despite the difficult conditions last year, the Bosch Group kept its activities clearly focused on innovation. At 3.6 billion euros, research and development expenditure remained on a high level. And with some 3,800 patent applications, the company again filed an average of 15 patents per working day. Worldwide, Bosch currently employs 33,000 associates in research and development.
Bosch is developing laser processes to manufacture solar modules. Finer structures and enhanced electrical properties increase efficiency, allowing more sunlight to be converted into electrical energy.

Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems GmbH currently employs 150 associates. Development work focuses on exhaust-gas turbochargers for spark-ignition engines and on turbochargers with variable turbine geometry for diesel-engine applications. In Germany, Bosch currently has more than 4,400 young people in its occupational training programs, and a total of roughly 6,500 worldwide. At Bosch, technical-industrial apprentices learn how to practically apply their sound theoretical knowledge. Apart from specialist skills and knowledge, they also receive training in methodological competencies and social skills. Here, Bosch places special importance on apprentices team spirit. To win over more young women for technical careers, Bosch supports initiatives such as Girls Day, which give young women an impression of technical trades, or femtec, a university career center for women studying engineering and science.
