Keyboard Removal Guide

Step#1 Remove the battery.
Step#2 Next, you will need to remove the keyboard cover.
Pull upward on the keyboard cover. There are no screws. This keyboard cover just snaps into place.
The keyboard cover will be connected to the chassis via a cable. Do not unlock this cable. Just push the keyboard cover backward to gain access to the keyboard lockdown clips.

Step#3 Now you will see 4 black clips just above the keyboard keys 'F4' 'F8' 'F12' and 'DEL'. Push each clip backward toward the lcd screen to unlock the top part of the keyboard.
There are also 2 side fixed plastic clips on either end of the keyboard. Just continue to pull upward on the keyboard and the keyboard will slide out from underneath these clips. When the keyboard is loose just rest it on its face to gain access to the keyboard cable.
Step#4 This final step requires you to remove the keyboard cable from the motherboard. To remove the cable simply pull upward the lockdown connector.
Your done! Reverse procedure to install your new keyboard.
