Step#1 First remove the battery.
Step#2 The next step will be to remove the keyboard cover (plastic strip above keyboard). There are 3 screws to remove.
Step#3 Turn the laptop over and remove the keyboard cover.

Step#4
The keyboard can now be removed by pushing back the two center tabs above the keyboard and pulling the keyboard away from the two side tabs. A small flathead screwdriver may help in pushing the center tabs away from the keyboard while pulling up on the keyboard. Once the keyboard is away from the center tabs very little effort is required to pull the keyboard out from under the two side tabs.

Step#5 Turn over the keyboard to access the keyboard ZIF connector (which locks the keyboard cable).
Step#6 The final step requires unlocking the keyboard cable from the ZIF connector. Slowly pull up on the black hinged clip, this will release the cable. Your done!
Reverse procedure to install your new keyboard.
