Digital Auto Cooking The digital sensor detects the volume of food in the oven and based on the food category selected, automatically selects the optimum cooking function, precise temperature and time to achieve the perfect result. Digital Touch Controls Easy to use, highly responsive touch controls which give precise control of all the ovens functions at the touch of a finger. Avantgarde Technology The latest in digital oven technology: incorporating advanced features such as automatic meat probe programs, automatic weight programs, temperature proposal, programmable recipes, display and acoustic settings, memory functions, electronic temperature regulation and automatic recipes. Residual Heat Indication Indicates the level of heat in the oven after it has been switched off. Steam More than twenty years of professional cooking experience has shown that cooking with steam is the best way to prepare mouth-watering dishes with a maximum of taste. When using wet steam, more vitamins and minerals are retained in the food and the natural colour and texture is preserved. The loss of weight is also kept at a minimum as a higher quantity of water stays in the products. Temperature Probe The electronic meat probe takes the guess work out of cooking and provides perfect cooking results every time. Digital Auto Cooking 5 category auto-sensing cooking, provides the perfect cooking results by optimising the oven mode with the food to be cooked. Vigorous Steam T he steam generator works at a fixed temperature of 96oC. Ideal for vegetables, rice, fish and reheating meals. Interval Plus A lternates between steam and air using 50% steam and 50% hot air. Ideal for food with a high moisture content or for reheating convenience foods. Interval Steam A lternates between 25% steam and 75% hot air. Ideal for baking, roasting and complete meal cooking. True Fan T he fan gently circulates hot air to give an even temperature which offers a range of benefits: does not require preheating, prevents transfer of flavours, keeps the oven cleaner and in turn, saves energy. Fan Baking T he fan circulates hot air, which is generated by the bottom and ring elements for perfect results when batch baking. Rotitherm Roasting T he fan circulates hot air from the grill element for the perfect authentic spit roast effect for meat, poultry and roasting potatoes, offering the benefits of rotisserie without the mess. Bottom Heat H eat from the bottom element only, ideal for reheating pies and pastries. Top Heat Browning H eat from the top element only, ideal for browning lasagne or shepherds pie. Moist Fan F an cooking with a moist environment. Conventional Cooking H eat from the top and bottom elements provide traditional cooking for the professional cook. Ideal for baking bread and cakes. Keep Warm H eat from the top and bottom elements are used to maintain a temperature of 80C, ideal for keeping food warm until ready to serve. Speedcook P revents the need to preheat the oven for all types of food ideal for cooking convenience foods. These foods can be cooked in the exact cooking time that is specified on the packet. Pyroluxe T he oven temperature is taken up to 500C where any food spillage on the ovens internal enamel surface is reduced to ash. Food Probe Simply place the probe into the food and select the correct internal temperature for your preferred taste. When the tip of the probe reaches this temperature the oven switches off. It takes the guesswork out of cooking and ensures your food is never under or over cooked. Ideal for joints, en crote dishes and even a nut roast. Slow Cook U ses low temperature to gently cook. Ideal for casseroles. Fan Controlled Defrosting S uitable for delicate items such as cream cakes, this light defrost function circulates room temperature air around the food slowly, defrosting it in less time. Pizza Setting / Fan Assisted T he fan circulates hot air from the top and bottom elements for a crisp pizza base with perfectly melted cheese on top. Pizza setting on 90cm oven Variable Single Grill U ses only the inner part of the grill element, ideal for smaller portions such as 2 pieces of toast. The heat is controllable and using one element is more energy efficient. Dual Circuit Variable Grill U ses the inner and outer parts of the grill element to provide full width even grilling, ideal for larger portions. The heat is controllable. Microwave M icrowave energy creates friction with the moisture content of the food, which creates heat and cooks food quickly and conveniently.

SAFETY FEATURES

Isofront / Isofront Plus Double / triple / quadruple glazed door. Multi-layered glass panes, with heat reflective coating, to keep the heat in the oven and keeps the front of the oven at a safe temperature. Auto Safety Switch Off Your oven will automatically switch off if you inadvertently leave it on or do not alter the temperature after a predetermined time. Function / Child Button Lock This safety feature can be activated to prevent changes or interruptions to a cooking function / program that has been selected. This safety feature allows you to lock the oven controls to prevent children from activating the oven. Safe Mode When this function is selected it prevents the oven from being switched on. SAFE is displayed in the control panel.
Fold Down Grill Selected models feature a fold down grill to enable the oven roof to be cleaned easily.
Once the Pyroluxe setting is selected, the temperature rises to 500C, locking the oven door at 300C for safety. With the quadruple glazed door reducing surface temperatures, the AEG-Electrolux Pyroluxe oven door is safe to touch even at 500C. Pyroluxe keeps your oven hygienically clean without using chemicals. Light Cleaning and Intensive Cleaning options are available on all Pyroluxe ovens.
Removable Panes Selected AEG-Electrolux single and double ovens have full glass inner doors. Selected single ovens have removable panes for easy cleaning.

AEG-Electrolux Induction cooktops enhance the appearance of any kitchen. Smooth touch controls provide total flexibility in a choice of sizes and styles. Cooking with Magnetism puts you in total control of your cooking and provides extensive safety benefits.

Precision and control

Fast Heating AEG-Electrolux induction cooktops are much faster than conventional electric cooktops as well as being faster than gas. The electromagnetic field virtually turns the pot into a heating element, dramatically reducing heat up time and giving instant control for very low simmering or rapid boiling. Safety Cut-Off Switches zones and cooktop off if no settings are selected after approximately 10 seconds. Moisture or boiling liquid spilling over onto the control panel, immediately switches off all cooking zones. If one of the cooking zones is not switched off after a certain time or if the heat setting is not modified, the relevant cooking zone switches off immediately. Power Function This function (when selected) supplies an extra high heating boost for large quantities of food or liquid.
Induction Cooking with Magnetism induction cooktop surfaces will not heat up unless a ferromagnetic pot is placed on the element. This is a safe cooking system as no heat is generated at the cooktop, the heating only occurs in the pot. Power Share Management The cooking zones share the maximum power available to them. When the power function is activated this reduces the heat setting of another zone. Timer All cooking zones can use the two time functions at the same time; e.g. as a countdown timer to sound an audible signal upon completion of elapsed time or automatically shut off after the elapsed time. Overheating Protection In the event of overheating (e.g. when a pan boils dry) the cooking zone automatically switches itself off. STOP+GO The STOP+GO function simultaneously switches all cooking zones that are switched on to the keep warm setting and then back to the heat setting that was previously set. This function can be used to briefly interrupt and then continue the cooking process e.g. to take a telephone call.

Heat Warning Lamps Separate residual heat warning lamps indicate when cooking has finished and the cooktop controls are turned off. The warning lamps remain illuminated until the temperature falls to a safe level. Overheating Protection To protect the glass cooking surface, all AEG-Electrolux elements are fitted with an over-temperature sensor. Should the incorrect cookware be used or an element left unattended for a long period of time, the additional safety sensor will switch the hot plate off to control the temperature and prevent over-heating. Automatic Warm Up Function All cooking zones are equipped with an automatic warm up function. The automatic warm up function sets the cooking zone to the highest setting for a certain period of time and then automatically switches back to the cooking setting that was originally set.

Automatic Program Advanced sensors determine the amount of water, temperature and the cycle length based on the cloudiness or dirt content detected in the water and the size of the load working in conjunction with the water sensing program. Self-Cleaning Filter It progressively cleans the water as it circulates, trapping even the smallest food particles in the micro filter. The lower spray arm directs a jet of water which aids in self-cleaning the complete filter assembly. Fuzzy Logic Automatically locks out any incorrect selections and prevents any mistakes during a cycle. It will monitor the wash and make any adjustments to the wash time and water usage as required. 30 Minute Program This program is designed to clean either just-used or average to lightly soiled dishes without pans and uses only 9 litres of water at 60. Multi Tab This optimises the cleaning and drying results in 3-in-1, 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 tablets by adjusting the cycle time and temperature. This ensures that the different elements of the detergent are used in the correct part of the cycle for a perfect fresh result.
5 Spray Levels For optimum wash results, the softer spray pressure in the top basket makes it ideal for fragile items, leaving the more vigorous spray action in the lower basket for heavily soiled items. All AEGElectrolux dishwashers have long spray arms to give a wider and improved water dispersion. Anti-Flood System For complete peace of mind, AEGElectrolux dishwashers have an Aqua-lock which switches off water supply to the dishwasher in the event of an accidental leak. This system will activate in stand-by mode providing the dishwasher is connected to a power supply. Active Drying Residual drying with the added benefit of a condenser unit providing faster, more effective drying. Turbo Drying Selected models feature the turbo condenser drying system resulting in improved drying of dishes. It activates a fan which draws steam from the dishwasher cabinet, condensing the steam back into water. Third spray arm For an extra clean wash, some of our dishwashers have a third spray arm, thus adding another dimension.
