Chimney hoods These are designed to provide a visual focus whilst offering various styles and widths to suit your kitchen. Telescopic hoods Ideal for the kitchen where the hood needs to perform well and be out of sight. These hoods are fitted into the wall cupboard and then pulled out from the wall when needed. Canopy hoods These are designed to fit snugly under a decorative canopy, kitchen unit or wall cupboard. These hoods save space and are discreet. Integrated hoods These appear to be part of the kitchen, hidden behind the furniture door and simply pulled out when required. Traditional hoods These fit neatly underneath a wall cupboard with easy to reach front controls.
Ducting or recirculation? Ducting is far more efficient than recirculation, though this is only possible if you have access to an outside wall. Ducting is when the air is drawn through the ducts and expelled outside, whilst recirculation simply filters the air (via grease filters and a charcoal filter) and returns it to the kitchen. All our hoods offer both options. Seen but not heard If you live, eat and entertain in the kitchen, then noise level is very important - no one wants to compete with a hood for ear-time! Ultrafan multifunction oven For the best results whatever youre preparing, our top of the range electric cookers offer you an Ultrafan plus multifunction cooking. You can chose fan cooking, conventional cooking and grilling as well as combining other oven functions such as the pizza setting or fan grilling. Theyre all combined in the one oven offering a range of ways to cook your food and achieve the best results. (Please refer to page 10 for oven functions available.) Ultrafan oven A true fan oven makes use of a fan to gently circulate the heat evenly around the oven. The fan is at the back of the oven surrounded by a heating element. This clever design reduces pre-heating times, achieves shorter cooking times at lower cooking temperatures and an even temperature throughout the oven. As well as being ideal for batch baking, or cooking on more than one shelf, it ensures there is no transfer of flavours, so sweet and savoury dishes can be cooked together. Ultrazone gas oven Our gas cooker will give you flexible control and ease of cooking as well as a stylishly designed cooker for your kitchen. The Ultrazone oven is great for cooking foods requiring different temperatures such as your Sunday roast and Yorkshire puddings, as the oven is hotter at the top and cooler at the bottom. Hob design Our uniquely designed cooker has control knobs placed on the top of the hob making it easier to use and keeping the controls out of the way of little fingers! For added safety and comfort the inner and outer panes of glass in our cookers are heat reflective and depending on the model chosen, two or three panes of glass are used in total ensuring the lowest possible outer door temperatures. This reduces the risk of injury, giving you peace of mind as well as making the oven more economical to use.

Rapid power zones

Our ceramic hobs feature rapid power zones which heat up in less than 5 seconds, saving time and energy. Some electric cookers also feature dual and triple zones to suit all pan sizes. The ceramic surfaces are easy to clean and all have residual heat indicators so that you can tell if theyre still hot. Touch control Packed with fabulous features, the EKC607601X has unique touch controls for both the oven and hob. With precision temperature control at your fingertips, this hob also has individual timers for each cooking zone and the Stop+Go function. Great for unexpected interruptions this function automatically reduces all the zones to the minimum heat level at the touch of a button. Glass lid with auto cut off Not only does the lid provide a useful splashback, the lid also provides the added safety feature of auto gas cut off when the lid is closed.

Help your oven stay clean Our cookers have a special catalytic coating on the top, back and sides of both ovens, which absorbs any fat splashes during cooking and when the oven is set to its highest temperature the grease oxidises helping to keep your cooker cleaner. Removable glass panes Through the clever design and construction of the doors, all our cookers have removable full width and height inner panes of glass in both the top and bottom doors. For easier cleaning the glass can simply lift out and wipe completely clean. Removable oven furniture To keep your cooker looking clean all the shelves and shelf supports can be easily removed and placed in the dishwasher.
All our gas and dual fuel cookers feature full gas safety using thermocouples to all burners, so youre safe in the knowledge that if the flame goes out the gas supply cuts off.

Gas hob features

Flush look Our stylish gas cooker has a unique deep well design to minimise the dirt traps and give a clean flush look to your cooker. It has a glass lid which not only acts as a useful splash back, it also cuts off the gas supply should you accidentally close the lid.
