Ovens, Cookers
AEG-Electrolux have a range of single and double ovens in a variety of colours. AEG-Electrolux offers an array of truly advanced technology from a multifunction oven with fully integrated steam functions to a double oven with electronic interactive display and digital cooking. AEG-Electrolux single or double cavity range cookers and the 60cm double cavity cookers come in mixed fuel or electric options, giving the choice between a gas or ceramic hob. All cookers come with a range of high-performance features for perfect cooking results.

Features

Multifunction.

AEG-Electrolux multifunction ovens combine fan cooking with conventional cooking, giving up to 10 oven tailored functions for exceptional cooking versatility.

Slow cook.

Uses low temperatures to gently tenderise and cook foods through. This is ideal for casseroles and joints.

True fan - Ventitherm.

The True fan Ventitherm cooking system gently circulates hot air evenly throughout the oven cavity, keeping food moist and achieving perfect cooking results. This function is very economical and quicker, as the oven heats up faster, eliminating the need to pre-heat for most dishes and reducing temperatures by 20%, saving both time and energy. The precise true fan cooking system ensures no transfer of avours, so sweet and savoury dishes can be cooked together. True fan Ventitherm allows a greater range of cooking temperatures from 30C-300C, ideal for bread proving to meringues, to the traditional Christmas turkey dinner.

Meat probe.

Simply place the probe into the meat and use the manual to select the correct internal temperature for your preferred taste. When the tip of the probe reaches this temperature the oven switches off. It takes the guesswork out of cooking and ensures your food is never under or over cooked. Ideal for joints, encroute dishes and even a nut roast.

Keep warm.

Heat from the top and bottom elements are used to maintain a set temperature of 80C, ideal for keeping food warm until ready to serve without drying the food out.
Fan controlled defrosting.
A hygienic and gentle way to defrost food. Suitable for even the most delicate items such as cream cakes, this defrost function slowly circulates room temperature air around the food, defrosting it in less than half the usual time.

Heat and hold.

This setting enables you to programme the oven to automatically switch to the Keep warm setting after completion of baking or roasting. This option runs at 80C for 30 minutes, after which the oven automatically switches itself off.
Speedcook function. Conventional cooking.
Heat from the top and bottom elements provide traditional cooking, ideal for baking breads and cakes on one level. This function creates zoned areas of heat, hotter at the top cooler at the bottom, suitable for cooking foods of a similar avour that require slightly different oven temperatures. This function may be used with True fan Ventitherm, fan baking, conventional and Rotitherm roasting. The oven reaches the required temperature almost immediately, eliminating the need to preheat the oven. This efcient feature is ideal for cooking convenience foods or recipes such as biscuits that may quickly spread into one another.

Rotitherm roasting.

Heat produced by the top elements is circulated around the food by the fan. This clever setting gives the perfect authentic spit roast effect for meat, poultry and roasting potatoes; all the benets of a rotisserie without the mess.
Dual circuit variable grill.
Uses the inner and outer parts of the grill element to provide full width even grilling, ideal for larger portions. The heat is controllable.
Single circuit variable grill. Fan baking.
The True fan Ventitherm and base element combine together to give direct heat to the base of foods making this setting the perfect environment for baking. It is ideal for crisping the base of pizzas, quiches and cooking in dense cookware. Uses only the inner part of the grill element, ideal for smaller portions such as 2 pieces of toast. The heat is controllable and using one element is more energy efcient.

Moist fan baking.

This clever function uses the True fan Ventitherm setting whilst closing the ventilation valve therefore retaining more moisture in the oven cavity. This function is excellent for baking foods that require a moister cooking environment e.g. light uffy fatless sponges and baked soufs.

Space solutions.

All our microwaves are small on the outside but spacious on the inside. Our range even includes a combi microwave that has a huge 38 litre capacity without taking up any more space in the kitchen than a standard microwave.

More/less time option.

For use with auto cook or defrost programmes. A simple button enables you to add more or less time to the cooking or defrosting time depending on the desired results, for example to cook medium or rare steak.

Glass turntables.

All microwaves have glass turntables to ensure even cooking, and an option to use without, if baking with a large dish.

Installation.

All AEG-Electrolux microwaves are fully built-in so no building-in kits are required, giving easy installation and a perfect t.

Automatic programmes.

Cleverly devised programmes allow defrosting, cooking and combination cooking to be accomplished automatically at the touch of a button. Simply enter the weight of the food, and the microwave does the rest.
A range of cooking programmes.
Combine microwave and traditional cooking with the DUO range (with integral grill) and COMBI range (with fan and grill cooking). Traditional cooking methods can be used independently or with the microwave function for maximum time saving.
The MCC3880EM, MCD3880EM and SOLO microwaves come with a choice of installation positions and can be built in under counter as well as in-column, offering the exibility to t into your kitchen design. All other models should be built in-column and 60cm models can be built over an oven or refrigerator. The 17 litre models are available in a choice of 50cm or 60cm wide versions for installation in a ventilated aperture 30cm deep.

Microwave power levels.

A choice of 1000W, 900W or 800W are available within the AEG-Electrolux range. The levels are adjustable, dependant on the type of cooking.

Combi microwave.

Combine the microwave with the browning and crisping effect of grilling or fan cooking, giving you speed and fantastic results.

Quartz grill.

Fast heat up time, with a smooth surface for easy cleaning.

Automax.

AEG-Electroluxs highly intelligent Automax function provides fantastic automatic zone control, so you do not have to constantly monitor the pans on the hob. Perfect safety

For complete peace of mind, many of AEG-Electroluxs hobs can be locked to prevent children accidentally turning it on. Stop+Go.

At the touch of a button, all zones are reduced to a keep warm level, and then when the button is touched again it returns the zones exactly to the previous level. This feature is perfect when you need to leave the hob for an unexpected call.

Timer.

To optimise efciency and performance of the cooker hood it is important to select the correct hood with an appropriate extraction rate for your kitchen environment. To help ensure you select the correct cooker hood, the measurements in each of these boxes relates to the oor space of the kitchen.

Extraction rates.

This is the level at which the cooker hood clears cooking vapours from the kitchen environment. AEG-Electrolux cooker hoods are measured in cubic metres per hour and are in accordance with IEC standards.

All fridge freezers feature an adjustable thermostat for easy adjustment of the internal temperature of the fridge freezer. The Coolmatic feature on fridges offers you fast chilling of fresh foods, whilst the Frostmatic feature quickly freezes food just placed in the freezer, ensuring all food is stored in optimum condition. Simple controls make operation easy and both Coolmatic and Frostmatic automatically switch off after a set period and return to normal temperature.

Quick chill.

The quick chill function chills bottles and cans in half the time they would usually take in a refrigerator.

Coolmatic.

By simply choosing the Coolmatic setting, the temperature is set to +2C allowing new shopping to be swiftly chilled, which helps preserve the avour, colour and nutritional value as well as protecting food that is already being stored. This function automatically returns to the pre-selected temperature.

Smart LCD display provides all the information needed such as the programme selected and the time remaining in a clear and precise way.

Intensive 70C.

An advanced wash, where the nal hot rinse is extended by 11 minutes to produce a more hygienic and ultra clean nish.
Glass care 45C. Auto programme.
Now there is no need to decide which programme is the most suitable for the dishes. With auto programme, the dishwasher decides. Using advanced sensors, the dishwasher will modify the time, temperature, water and energy consumption based on the soiling level to produce optimum results in the most efcient way. The temperature ranges from 45C to 70C, making it ideal for the most delicate of glassware to the dirtiest of dishes. Powerful enough to thoroughly clean glasses yet gentle enough to care for them. This feature includes adjustable glass supports for extra stability.

Rinse hold.

A cold rinse removes food deposits and holds the wash until there is a full load.

Night cycle.

In order not to disturb sleep, the night cycle runs at just 39dB, making this the quietest dishwasher on the market.

Auto half load.

Using the latest dishwashing technology, auto half load allows the dishwasher to determine whether there is a full or half load and will moderate the water and energy consumption accordingly.

Quick 55.

This programme runs at 55C and can wash a full 12 place setting capacity in just 55 minutes.

Multi-tab.

All models come with a multi-tab button, which optimises the cleaning results of all-in-one detergents. It modies the time and temperature of each phase of the programme to ensure that all elements of the detergent are released at the correct part of the cycle for sparkling results every time.

LCD DISPLAY Provides information, feedback and accurate end time about the programmes and options selected, to ensure you are in full control. TIME DISPLAY Shows an accurate time of when the programme will end or the time remaining, dependent on model. TIME SAVER The programme's duration can be adapted to individual needs. Options of normal, short and very short are offered to give full control over the length of the programme. DELAY START Set the programme to start when convenient. There are three types of delay start: 1. Two Step: either 3hrs or 6hrs 2. Up to 19hrs 3. Up to 22.5hrs ADVANCED FUZZY LOGIC Even more effective than Fuzzy Logic, Advanced Fuzzy Logic calculates the precise amount of water required for the main wash and rinse, resulting in the best wash and rinse performance with the lowest water, detergent and energy consumption. WEIGHT SENSOR The sensor detects the weight of the wash load, which is then displayed on the LCD. This, combined with Advanced Fuzzy Logic gives you the optimum wash performance, using the lowest amount of resources whilst using the full wash load capacity, saving time, water, energy and detergent. DETERGENT DOSAGE INDICATOR The machine recommends the percentage of detergent that is required in relation to the manufacturer's recommended dosage. EU Energy Efficiency Information This scheme, which covers refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers and electric ovens is designed to offer consumers a standardised method of choosing the most energy efficient appliances. For refrigerators and freezers, as well as stating the Energy Efficiency Class (A most efficient, G least efficient) the label also gives the annual electricity consumption (i.e. running cost) and the usable storage capacity. For washing machines the label also states the wash performance and spin efficiency. Three ratings are given to ensure energy efficiency combined with effective washing and drying. For dishwashers the label states energy efficiency, washing and drying performance. For electric ovens the label also states the energy consumption (in kWh) and the usable volume of the oven. If the oven is a double oven it will carry this information for both ovens.
