AEG-Electrolux cooling appliances have a range of innovative functions for advanced food preservation, whilst features such as air purifiers and door open alarms provide the ultimate in peace of mind.

Fridge features

Optimum food preservation.
AEG- Electrolux freestanding cooling range offers peace of mind for food storage be it fresh, chilled or frozen, providing the perfect solution to cooling requirements in the kitchen.

Precision cooling.

The AEG-Electrolux precision cooling system distributes cold air throughout the fridge ensuring an even temperature is maintained for perfect cooling on every shelf. The internal space can be fully utilised giving you more food storage space.

Salad drawer.

The extra large salad drawers with humidity control have dividers so that fruit and vegetables can be separated. The humidity control prolongs the life of your fruit and vegetables, keeping them fresh for longer. The glide out runners make loading and unloading extremely easy.

Coolmatic.

By simply choosing the Coolmatic setting, the temperature is set to +2C allowing new shopping to be swiftly chilled, which helps preserve the flavour, colour and nutritional value as well as protecting food that is already being stored. This function automatically returns to the pre-selected temperature.

The chill compartment.

The chill compartment operates at a temperature of 1C to 3C, extending the life of chilled food. Ideal for storage of fresh meat and fish.

Tilted wine racks.

Tilted wine racks are ideal for storing wine in its optimum condition.

Quick chill.

The quick chill function chills bottles and cans in half the time they would usually take in a refrigerator.

Air purifier system.

The air purifier system purifies the air that has been passed throughout the fridge and removes odours so they are not transported around the fridge.

Dynamic air technology.

The internal fridge fan provides an even and stable temperature in the fridge. This reduces hotspots and condensation leading to food staying fresher for longer.

Freezer features

No more defrosting.
AEG-Electrolux frost-free freezers completely remove the need to defrost the freezer, giving total convenience and saving valuable time. Frost-free freezers also offer efficient and effective freezing with quicker, more even chilling for better food preservation. Food never sticks together or gets frosted over, so contents can be quickly located.

Frostmatic.

The Frostmatic feature can be utilised when putting fresh food in the freezer. Electronic controls quickly freeze food to the pre-set temperature, preserving the flavour, nutritional value and appearance of food, in addition to protecting already frozen food. This function automatically returns to the pre-selected temperature.

Freezer tray.

Many of our fridge freezers come with a small tray for use in the freezer. This is perfect for forming ice cubes or for freezing soft fruit.

Maxi box drawer.

Perfect for freezing larger items such as Christmas turkey, party platters and birthday cakes.
4-star freezer compartments.
AEG-Electrolux cooling appliances ensure the very best food preservation. All models have 4-star freezer compartments for fresh food freezing. Store frozen foods for up to one year with excellent visibility of the contents inside.

Precision

Precise control.

Holiday mode.

The holiday mode sets the temperature of the fridge cabinet to 14C without affecting the freezer. This is very useful, particularly on occasions where the fridge will not be used for extended periods of time. The temperature set by the holiday mode allows for the preservation of food such as butter and eggs and it prevents the creation of unpleasant odours whilst the door remains closed for a long period of time. At the push of a button your appliance can be returned to its normal operating temperature.

Multifunction.

AEG-Electrolux multifunction ovens combine fan cooking with conventional cooking, giving oven tailored functions for exceptional cooking versatility.

Rotitherm roasting.

Heat produced by the top elements is circulated around the food by the fan. This clever setting gives the perfect authentic spit roast effect for meat, poultry and roasting potatoes; all the benefits of a rotisserie without the mess.

Pizza setting.

The True fan Ventitherm and base element combine together to give direct heat to the base of foods making this setting the perfect environment for baking. It is ideal for crisping the base of pizzas, quiches and cooking in dense cookware.

True fan - Ventitherm.

The True fan Ventitherm cooking system gently circulates hot air evenly throughout the oven cavity, keeping food moist and achieving perfect cooking results. This function is very economical and quicker, as the oven heats up faster, eliminating the need to pre-heat for most dishes and reducing temperatures by 20%, saving both time and energy. The precise true fan cooking system ensures no transfer of flavours, so sweet and savoury dishes can be cooked together. True fan Ventitherm allows a greater range of cooking temperatures from 30C-300C, ideal for bread proving to meringues, to the traditional Christmas turkey dinner.

Base heat finishing.

Heat from the bottom element only. Perfect for reheating pies and pastries as it keeps the pastry crisp. It can also be used to warm plates.

Speedcook function.

This function may be used with True fan Ventitherm, fan baking, conventional and Rotitherm roasting. The oven reaches the required temperature almost immediately, eliminating the need to preheat the oven. This efficient feature is ideal for cooking convenience foods or recipes such as biscuits that may quickly spread into one another.

The worlds first A rated tumble dryer.
Many people have concerns about buying a tumble dryer due to their traditionally high energy consumption. AEG-Electrolux is the worlds first manufacturer to provide an A rated tumble dryer. The T59840 takes as little as 85 minutes to dry cottons. It uses a special heat pump technology which works like a refrigerator in reverse to achieve this unprecedented energy efficiency. The energy consumption is so low, it actually exceeds the requirements for an A energy rating by 30%. So you get all the benefits of tumble drying at a much lower running cost.
Programmes for outstanding performance on clothes.
Combating those stubborn stains is always a problem. AEG-Electrolux washing machines have a number of programmes to ensure outstanding wash results: 20 minute pre-wash. The 20 minute pre-wash option loosens dirt prior to the main wash, ensuring the ultimate washing performance. Stain action. The stain action function allows you to use stain removing agents with bio powder. By having a fourth compartment for dispensing stain remover, the powder is only dispensed once wash is at 40c making stain removing treatment more effective.

Perfect rinsing results. To produce the perfect rinsing results the rinse plus programme can be added to the wash cycle. If too much detergent is sensed on the final rinse, this phase is automatically added in.

Fuzzy logic.

Inverter motor. This powerful new brushless constructed motor is not only designed to be more durable but also provides a superior performance versus standard motors. With this advanced technology AEG-Electrolux washing machines provide a more powerful wash performance, shorter wash times and quieter operation during washing and spinning cycles. Automatic adjustable foot. A selection of our AEG-Electrolux washing machines are built with a spring loaded automatic adjustable foot effectively absorbing the vibrations. Superior insulation. Our extra quiet models are equipped with noise insulation panels, which absorb high frequency noise, making our washing machines noticeably more quiet.

AEG-Electrolux has a range of 7kg & 8kg load capacity machines, perfect for households with a lot of laundry to take care of. With a 7kg or 8kg load, the average weekly wash can be completed with ease. These machines also optimise on water, energy and time when washing smaller loads.
Advanced fuzzy logic calculates the precise amount of water required for the main wash and rinse, giving the best possible wash and rinse performance with the lowest possible detergent and energy consumption.

Delay start.

The delay start option for up to 20 hours ensures your laundry is ready exactly when required and helps to reduce creasing and musty odours.

AEG-Electrolux washing machines have LCD Graphic / LED displays to provide feedback about the programmes and options selected, to ensure you are in full control. The time display feature accurately indicates when the programme will end or the time remaining, dependent on model.

Control over safety.

AEG-Electrolux washing machines are always designed with safety in mind: Flow sensors. Measure the exact amount of water taken into the machine, to economise water usage and help protect against flooding. Automatic child safety. Keypads can be locked to ensure temperatures and programme selectors cannot be changed - making certain your laundry is always safe. Aqua control. Aqua Control is an internal system which helps you keep control by monitoring the water level to detect leakage.

Sensor drying.

The sensor dryer on all AEG-Electrolux tumble dryers and washer dryers gives you exceptional drying results and total control. Simply choose the required level of dryness on the rotary control, from iron dry for slightly damp clothes to extra dry for readyto-wear results. The machine will then sense when the clothes are dried to the level specified. You do not need to keep checking to see if your clothes are ready; the sensor dryer will do all the work.

Time save.

Available across the range, the time saver option gives total control over the length of your wash. It offers options of normal, quick and very quick so that you can reduce the length of the programme when needed to suit your schedule. You can reduce the wash time by up to 25% for a 6kg load at 60C by pressing the button once and up to 60% by pressing the button twice. Still providing an A rated wash saving you both time and money.
Ultra quick wash programme.
This NEW quick wash is a complete programme that allows you to wash 3kgs at 30C in just 20 minutes! Making washing small loads efficiently easier than ever before.

Easy iron.

The easy iron programme reduces ironing time by up to 50% through actively reducing creases in fabric caused throughout the wash and spin cycle.

Freshen-up programme.

Our quickest washing idea for worn once clothes. Refreshingly quick. Our tumble dryers have the intensive dry setting so you can achieve quick drying results too!

Memory programmes.

The L86850 and L84950 are built to remember the programmes chosen by you. With two memory options these washing machines remember your programmes and stores them for the next time, so being in control has never been easier.

AEG-Electrolux has the only wool programme in the market with a cool down at the end of the wash phase preventing chill-shock when the cold rinse begins, ensuring shrinkage is minimised. The silk and lingerie programmes are designed to care and protect very delicate fabrics, ensuring optimum wash results with maximum care. The delicate programme is designed for mixed fabrics found in delicate clothes. We know washing by hand can be unpleasant, so now there is an extremely gentle programme that allows handwash labelled items to be washed by machine.

Variomatic spins.

Variomatic spin is another feature which minimises creasing by alternating progressively faster spinning with frequent tumbling stages, giving you the best possible wash.

Sensitive option.

Designed specifically for people who are extra sensitive to dirt, dust, pollen etc. Works on cotton and synthetic programmes where fabric is gently moved around and has a default extra rinse option, with no early intermediate spins ensuring particles are rinsed out effectively.

Tumble dryer programmes.

Our tumble dryers dry clothes like the outdoors, indoors, with a range of gentle programmes for unrivalled clothes care. AEG-Electrolux use advanced technology to develop programmes to care for all types of fabric, designed to keep your every need in mind. We have a special sport programme for thicker fabrics, ideal for drying the seams of clothes such as jeans. There are special cycles with cool air and gentle tumbling so that even delicate fabrics such as wool and silk can be dried with confidence. To prevent tangling and creasing there is the easy iron programme and the reverse tangle programme. To simply refresh clothes that have been in the cupboard there is the refresh option. To dry clothes so they are ready to wear or store there is the extra dry programme and the storage dry programme.

Rinse hold.

The rinse hold facility helps reduce creasing & musty odours from leaving damp clothes in the drum. Clothes remain in water from the final rinse, until it is convenient to complete the wash.

AEG-Electrolux laundry appliances are perfectly coordinated. This uniform appearance will enhance any kitchen or utility room, with stylish push button controls, innovative LCD and LED displays and stainless steel embossed detail.

Flexible design.

There are two types of AEG-Electrolux tumble dryers, the condenser dryer and the vented dryer. The condenser dryer condenses the moisture back into water and fills a large self-sealed water container that can be poured down the sink. This dryer can be situated anywhere in the home. The vented dryer expels warm air from the machine via a venting kit. It is essential that this air is vented outside, therefore the appliance must be situated near an outside wall. Vented dryers come with a venting kit consisting of a venting hose and connectors for the appliance and the wall.

Angled control panel.

Our new control panels are designed to tilt up at a 19 angle - making setting your programmes easier than ever before!

Interior light.

The interior light drum on the L84950 and L86850 washing machines and all our tumble dryers automatically light up when the door is open for greater visibility when loading and unloading. AEG-Electrolux appliances are also easy to load and unload, with large 30cm portholes and 165 door opening.
