Private channels CTCSS/DCS: By using the same CTCSS/ DCS codes you can talk to your friends or colleagues without getting disturbed by others. So there wont be any interferences by communications of others. This is especially useful in baby mode because your radio will only react to the baby monitor. PTT button: Push to talk button on the radio or external. This button has to be pressed in order to speak to your partner. Vox-Activation: With the Vox function it is possible to transmit without pressing the PTT button. The radio will be activated by detecting your speech automatically. Scan: Automatic search run on all 8 channels to nd other people who are communicating. Dual Watch: The radio automatically switches between your current channel and your priority channel. If it detects an active communication on the priority channel it will stay on this channel otherwise it will switch back to the current channel. Call: Transmission of a tone which is received by others. Depending on the radio there are several tones similar to the ring tones on your mobile phone. Monitor: This function disables the noise squelch temporarily, you can use it hear very faint signals. But you will also hear the noise on the channel. Keylock: This will protect you against unintended changes of your settings. Battery indicator: Shows the approximate charging status of the batteries. Baby monitoring: A function which helps you to observe babys, childs or sick people.

Albrecht - Leading in new ideas: Albrecht has consequently applied the new European R&TTE directive and its possibilities, which has replaced the former national approval mark systems by a common European CE marking system. All Albrecht Multi-Standard CB radios have a country switch system and can be used in most European countries in (minimum) one of the 3 or more available switch positions. It depends on the member states frequency application, which of the country switch position(s) you may use in the region where You are: 40 CH FM (CEPT) in almost all countries, 40 FM/40 AM/40 SSB in more and more countries (the EN Standard) and 80/40 (covering the additional German channels 41 to 80 inside of Germany except base station use in defined border regions). My hobby CB-Radio Restrictions on sets with up to 80 channels. The channels numbers 41 to 80 may unfortunately not be used everywhere: in the border areas of the neighbouring countries, apart from the Czech Republic Base stations, you are not allowed to transmit on these channels, or you need a special licence of the German authority (Bundes-Netz-Agentur). Tone squelch (pilot tone or CTCSS) is a new function in CB radio communication. This tone squelch replaces the conventional squelch, which reacts on a weaker noise or an increasing eld strength. Instead there is an inaudible deep tone in every transmission. This tone will be interpreted by the partner station if this station also is equipped with this function. The loudspeaker will only turn on, if the device hear this tone. So you can build an own group with your friends and colleagues and everybody in this group can listen to the other ones. With activated TSQ the normal squelch is not activated. The radio has the ability to decode the CTCSS codes always in the best sensitivity and does not react to any noises or external signal without CTCSS.

These products offer a convenient way to operate mass produced 12Vdc equipment such as cell phones, in car entertainment, professional communication and telematics equipment, refrigerators, televisions etc. from the 24Vdc mobile electrical systems found on diesel engined vehicles and vessels. A Comprehensive Range There are 10 products in the range from 3A to 24A in isolated or common earth configurations. They have been optimised for high volume 24Vdc to 12Vdc applications such as on heavy goods vehicles, coaches, buses, construction, forestry and agricultural vehicles, commercial and leisure marine vessels. Tamper Proof There are no ventilation holes to permit stray objects, dust or water droplets to enter the case. There are no external fuses to be tampered with. Fuses will only blow if there is a fault so there is no need to make them accessible. All PowerVerters are enclosed in a rugged aluminium extrusion. The low mass Surface Mount Technology components are also less prone to damage from vibration and shock, further increasing the reliability of the units. 3Amp units are excellent for charging mobile phones, while 6A units suit a variety of mobile radio applications. Galvanically isolated units are suitable for marine applications and come complete with the green tamperproof label for petrochemical applications. Fast Installation All the units consume an off load current of less than 15mA, which is probably less than the self discharge current of the vehicles battery. In most cases this can be ignored, speeding the installation by removing the need to fit a remote switch. All products fit onto a Click n Fit mounting clip which is fixed in three points allowing it to be mounted on uneven surfaces. It is easy to fit the clip into awkward places and then simply click the unit into position. A red LED indicates when there is output from the converter. This gives reassurance to the installation engineer and speeds fault finding. Easy 6 Step Installation Method 1. Find a convenient location away from sun and rain. 2. Using the mounting clip as a template, mark fixing positions. 3. Drill screw holes. 4. Fix bracket using screws provided. 5. Clip PowerVerter to mounting bracket. 6.Correctly connect to load.
