A unique combination of immunity to false alarms and maximum detection reliability make the IR250 ideal suited to use in a wide range of applications, including commercial and industrial premises, large private houses, public buildings and similar locations that require stringent security regulations.
Fast and simple installation The versatile housing base allows wall and corner installation without accessories, and provides plenty of space for the wiring. The electronics are protected by the case, and the snap in design saves time. Outstanding immunity A comprehensive protection concept makes the detector insensitive to environmental problems such as draughts, temperature fluctuations, electromagnetic interference or white light. Safe detection The patented mirror optics guarantee a high level of detection reliability, thanks to a look down zone for crawl protection, and uniform sensitivity in the 'chessboard' zone pattern. VISATEC II, the microcontrollerbased multi-criteria signal analysis system, differentiates intelligently and reliably between intruders and disturbance signals. Anti-mask surveillance Against sabotage by covering the IR250 is equipped with an electronic ART anti-mask surveillance. The detector is monitored on attacks, which have an influence of the responsing mode as a goal, e.g. spray, foils, hats, boxes, pullover, etc.

WMV11 Plug-on video module The WMV11 video module is plugged on to the Sintony main board. The video module contains an input for the video bus and an output for connecting a monitor. A button enables the cameras to be switched in test mode. In the event of an alarm, 6 pictures from the camera assigned to the alarm are digitised at 1 second intervals and transmitted to the CMS together with the relevant alarm report. Note: the CMS has to be equipped with special hardware and software in order to be able to receive the video pictures (see Medialine and Witsmart products, mentioned underneath).
