Uses commercially available mini jack input (3.5mm) Are NOT Versatile-link Ready but include a mute mode feature--- YOU MUST check radio harness for a pink/black wire before making a purchase. These adapters take the place of the Alpine CD Changer. If you have a cd changer it must be disconnected and will no longer function. In order for the radio to recognize the adapter, you must enable "AUX" input option from within the menu.
