A family of 868 MhZ sensors

RF SYSTEM 868 MHz

Wireless Expansion Wireless Receivers allow the integration of the most advanced wireless technology with the CS175, CS275, CS575 and CS200 range of panels. Depending on the control panel which is used, up to 8, 16 or 48 transmitters can be individually displayed at the keypad for alarm and supervisory reports. The receivers can be mounted in the panel housing or remotely in a separate plastic housing. Learn-ModeTM Technology Patented Learn-ModeTM technology increases the ease and reliability of installations. Each device has its own factoryprogrammed identity so the receiver simply 'learns' the identity of each device. This dramatically reduces the installation time and eliminates programming errors in the field. Once the sensors are installed, they are added to the control panel's memory; no sensor programming is required. Supervision Each transmitter sends a supervision message to the receiver every 15 minutes to indicate that it is functioning correctly. In addition, a pry-off tamper built into each unit provides additional security against tampering. Jamming Detection In the unlikely event that a signal is blocked and a jamming condition occurs, the receiver quickly detects this and passes a message to the control panel. More than 3 years Battery Life Typical battery life is calculated to be around 3 years and the use of standard, readily available consumer batteries, makes replacement easy. Moreover, since battery status is communicated with every single transmission, early warning indication of a low battery condition is assured. Range of Transmitters Passive Infra-Red Based on the field-proven EV 400 Plus range, the RF425W8 wireless version is available with the same rich feature set including standard '4D' or bi-curtain processing providing improved detection and false alarm immunity. Universal Transmitter The wireless universal transmitter protects anything that opens and closes including doors, windows and cabinets. Moreover, there is a provision to monitor open or closed circuit so an additional detector, such as a panic button can be connected to the device. Smoke Detector Now, virtually false-alarm free lifesafety protection can be easily added on to any system with the introduction of the wireless smoke detector. This unique detector features a fieldexchangeable optical block as well as a background compensation algorithm, providing the registered 'CleanMe' signal which indicates that the detector requires servicing. Keyfob The four button keyfob is a portable wireless device allowing the customer to arm, part arm or disarm their system without having to memorise access codes. It offers two additional programmable buttons that can be used to turn on and off lights before entering the premises, activate automated garage doors, X10 appliances, lifesafety alarms or any other function defined in the system. Acoustic Glassbreak Detector 360 coverage is provided by this omni-directional glassbreak detector. It can be mounted on the ceiling or wall and has a detection range of up to 6 metres.

Overview The Recessed Micro Door/Window Sensor is a small, wireless device using the Learn Mode security systems. The sensor monitors an entry/exit point of a building. The sensor is powered by a high capacity, 3.0 volt lithium battery. The battery life for this sensor is 15 years in most applications. High traffic applications, such as busy entry/exit doors, and jarring locations can reduce battery life. This sensor is the one of the smallest recessed sensor. Its size is comparable to your index finger; the magnet is even smaller. Its compact size ensures both an effortless and subtle installation. You can easily countersink the sensor into any door or window frame. It comes with an extra magnet bushing, so you can easily install it with one drill bit. The sensor uses a wrap-around metal clip that guarantees a solid fit. The sensor has a wireless transmitter that communicates with any Learn Mode control panel. Patented Learn Mode technology eliminates sensor programming and makes it easy to set up the system. Each sensor reports a unique ID code to the control panel with each transmission. The sensor also reports the battery and transmitter condition (supervisory signal) to the panel at least every 64 minutes.
