Proxima DP5900 Desktop Projector

Turning the Projector On

1. Make sure the power cord is securely connected. 2. Turn the main ON/OFF switch on the rear of the projector to the ON position. 3. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote. The image will appear on screen after 30 seconds.
Turning the Projector Off
1. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote. Power Off? will appear on screen. 2. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote again to power of the projector.

Basic Operations

On/ Off (1) (1) Turns the projector on and off. Volume (4) (3) Adjusts the sound settings. Mute (10) Turns the volumes completely down. Disk Pad (12) Use to navigate the menu when the menu screen is displayed.
Arrow Buttons/Select (6) The arrow buttons have multiple uses. The Up and Down arrows are used to scroll through the items on the menu. The Left and Right arrows are used to change the level of a selected item. The Select button is used to execute the items in the menus. Front Click Button (13) Functions as the right mouse button. Select (Rear Click) Button (14) The Select button is used to execute the items in the menus. This button also serves as the left mouse button when in use as a wireless mouse.

Adjusting the Image

Zoom (2) (4) The Zoom + button increases the overall size of the screen. The Zoom decreases the overall size of the screen. Fine Sync (3) (2) Adjusting fine sync will help reduce flicker in the display. Focus (5) (5) Manually focuses the projector to eliminate any blur that may be present on the screen. Normal (7) (7) Resets the picture to the normal setting preset by the factory. Freeze (11) Use to take a still shot of the current screen. Press the Freeze button a second time to return viewing to normal.
Using Menus and Selecting Inputs
Menu (6) (9) Opens the menu screen where options such as screen position, brightness, and color can be changed. Press the Menu button a second time to close the menu options. Note: It is not recommended that any of the options be changed. Mode (8) (8) Used to select the video source. (Computer 1, Computer 2, Video 1, or Video 2 Input) System (9) (10) Computer Mode: Use this button to select computer system. Video Mode: Use this button to select the color system.
