INSTALLATION MULTIPLE

Vous pouvez installer jusqu' 4 BEE-PLAYER, indpendamment les uns des autres. Chaque BEE-PLAYER doit tre raccord un tlviseur et configur suivant la mme procdure.
INSTALLATION AVEC LE DEPORT INFRAROUGE
Pour une installation discrte de BEE-PLAYER, vous pouvez linstaller derrire votre tlviseur. Vous devez alors utiliser le dport infrarouge (accessoire vendu sparment) en branchant le connecteur sur lentre marque IR EXT de la face arrire de BEE-PLAYER et en disposant lembout du dport infrarouge de manire visible.

ETHERNET/POWERLINE INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION DATA SHEET
This guide helps you install and configure BEE-PLAYER multimedia TV player in an Ethernet/Powerline network. In order to ensure your BEE-PLAYER works properly, we encourage you to follow the various procedures described on this data sheet and also refer to the user manual for your ADSL and/or router box.

BEE-PLAYER installation and configuration is a 4 steps process:

CONNECT BEE-PLAYER TO YOUR TV/HI-FI
Connect the player to the TV set
Connect the scart cable supplied in the box to BEE-PLAYER scart socket. Connect the scart cable to the scart socket on your TV set. Connect the power supply unit supplied in the box to BEE-PLAYER input marked POWER. Connect the power supply unit to a 230V 50Hz mains outlet. A red LED lights up on the front panel. Switch on your TV set and select the scart device corresponding to BEE-PLAYER. BEE-PLAYER main menu screen appears.
Connect the player to the Hi-Fi installation
If you have a digital audio input on your Hi-Fi installation, connect a digital audio cable (not supplied) between it and the input marked DIGITAL AUDIO on the rear panel of BEE-PLAYER. If you do not have a digital audio input on your Hi-Fi installation you must use a split scart cable (not supplied). Connect the scart plug to your TV and the RCA connectors to your Hi-Fi installation.
CONNECT BEE-PLAYER TO YOUR LOCAL NETWORK
If you have an Ethernet based network
Connect the network cable (not included) to the ETHERNET input of BEE-PLAYER. Connect the Ethernet cable from BEE-PLAYER to the Ethernet connection on your network device (ADSL box or external router).
If you have a Powerline network

To connect BEE-PLAYER to your Powerline network you must first configure your Powerline adapter* (not included). Connect the network cable (not included) to the ETHERNET input of BEE-PLAYER. Connect the cable to your Powerline adapter.
* The procedure for this will normally be found in the user manual for your Powerline adapter.
Connect the player to the router
Case No.1: your ADSL box is also your router.
Activate router mode ** on your ADSL box to network it to BEE-PLAYER. BEE-PLAYER will then be connected to your local area network.
Case No.2: you have a separate router.
Switch your router on. BEE-PLAYER will then be connected to your local area network.

CONFIGURE BEE-PLAYER

Select your language
Using the buttons on your remote control, move the cursor to the Language field on the menu screen. Choose your language with the buttons on your remote control.
Select the type of connection
Using the buttons on your remote control, move the cursor to the Network field on the menu screen. Choose Ethernet with the buttons on your remote control. Press OK on the remote control to confirm.

Configure the network

BEE-PLAYER now starts looking for compatible sources. To make sure your ADSL TV box is compatible, check with your Internet Access Provider that they rebroadcast received TV/radio channels over Ethernet. For your computer to be compatible and recognised by BEE-PLAYER, you must first have installed ASTONSERVER on your computer (see next step). Network settings are detected automatically. If you want to manually configure the System, Audiovisual and Network settings on BEE-PLAYER, refer to the detailed instructions on the CD.
** Refer to the user manual for your ADSL box or contact your ADSL operator for this procedure.
INSTALL ASTONSERVER ON YOUR COMPUTER
ASTONSERVER lets you select contents stored on your computer for sharing with BEE-PLAYER Insert the CD-ROM provided with BEE-PLAYER in your computer's CD drive. Follow the instructions on the INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PC/MAC data sheet. N.B., you can install the ASTONSERVER programme on all the computers in your home (up to 10 computers). Once the software is installed, restart BEE-PLAYER which will then consider your computer as a content server.
