Exactly as advertised Works well, does everything I want it to do! Webcam looks good. The input/output for audio though is thoroughly confusing. Modern Warfare 2 owned!!! I switched from a 22" non high def monitor to this massive 26" full 1082p high def monitor.

Before setting up the monitor, carefully read all the documentation that came with the package. Never try to open the monitor cabinet. The dangerous high voltages inside the monitor may result in serious physical injury. To prevent fire or shock hazard, never expose the monitor to rain or moisture.
If the power supply is broken, do not try to fix it by yourself. Contact a qualified service technician or your retailer. Before using the product, make sure all cables are correctly connected and the power cables are not damaged. If you detect any damage, contact your dealer immediately.
Slots and openings on the back or top of the cabinet are provided for ventilation. Do not block these slots. Never place this product near or over a radiator or heat source unless proper ventilation is provided. The monitor should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your dealer or local power company. Use the appropriate power plug which complies with your local power standard.
Do not overload power strips and extention cords. Overloading can result in fire or electric shock. Avoid dust, humidity, and temperature extremes. Do not place the monitor in any area where it may become wet. Place the monitor on a stable surface.
Unplug the unit during a lightning storm or if it will not be used for a long period of time. This will protect the monitor from damage due to power surges. Never spray cleaner directly on the screen, as it may drip inside the monitor and cause an electric shock. The screen may flicker during the initial use due to the nature of the fluorescent light. Turn off the Power Switch and turn it on again to make sure that the flicker disappears. You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the desktop pattern you use.
The following symptoms are normal with the monitor:

Full description

Various PC/ video inputs and outputs link all gears into one LCD monitor, including HDMI, DVI, D-sub, Component (YPbPr) input, PC audio input, SPDIF audio output and earphone jack. Built-in 3Wx2 hidden stereo speakers for multimedia enjoyment. Interoperable with consumer electronics, such as Blu-ray disc players, DVD players, game consoles, etc. Built-in rotatable 2.0MP webcam is easy to conduct face-to-face live conversations with family, friends or online game partners. It features Smart EV (Exposure Value) Control technology to cleverly compensate for poor lighting conditions. Plug-and-play for easy connection and easy use through the USB interface without installing extra drivers. Create your own video clip and side show by bundled LifeFrame2 software. ASCR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio) Technology automatically adjusts the luminance of the backlight for better displays according to the image contents, and improves the contrast ratio to 20000:1 - resulting in more realistic depictions of night scenes during games or movies. Trace Free Technology delivers 2ms quick response time (gray-to-gray) for smooth video display and gaming without ghosting. Aspect Control function allows users to select a preferred display mode among Full and 4:3 for true-to-life Full HD 1080p gaming or movie watching without any data loss or image distortion. DCDi (Directional Correlation De-interlacing) Technology, which is often used in high-end LCD and plasma TV sets, improves the quality of low-resolution video by de-interlacing the images and eliminating jagged edges along diagonal lines to make you enjoy videos like fast-paced sport games or action movies with more satisfaction. Splendid Video Intelligence Technology is built upon a color engine that automatically analyzes and determines the nature of the user's current task, thereafter adjusting the display's parameters accordingly to ensure the best possible color and image fidelity. With the five preset modes (Standard, Game, Scenery, Night View and Theater) of Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, you will enjoy optimized colors for various multimedia entertainment scenarios. Standard mode allows you to view documents and browse websites comfortably with optimized colors and contrast. Game mode adaptively brings up dark, hard-to-see areas while leaving the well-lit areas untouched - allowing you to see your enemies lurking in dark corners without washing out the colors as a whole. Theater mode simulates a theater experience by enhancing the contrast and color saturation of the image - delivering livelier and vivider visuals for greater immersion. Scenery mode increases the brightness range and contrast gradations and selectively tweaks the color saturation of key elements such as blue skies and green fields to make for more captivating land and seascapes. Night View mode breathes the beauty back into night vistas by smartly raising the Y-Luminance signal to highlight poorly-lit details - capturing the scene's beauty in crisp and vibrant fashion. 3 preset skin tone Select between natural, reddish and yellowish skin tone presets for more natural-looking human subjects on screen. The glossy piano-black and slim frame front bezel exudes the most enduring classics of style. Convenient key controls for functional set-up in the multi-language OSD. Cable manager gets rid of tangling cables and wires.
