Carony Go takes you right into your car
A power wheelchair that nally enables you to travel in a standard small car!
CARONY GO will take you from your home right into your car. A Turnout swivel base needs to be installed in the car, onto which the power wheelchair seat slides from its wheel unit. CARONY GO can also be combined with a Turny car seat lift for use in MPVs with higher oors. The wheelchair is easy and practical both in the home and outside on uneven surfaces. It has been tested and approved by the Swedish Handicap Institute and fulls modern power wheelchair requirements.

People in power wheelchairs usually have to travel by minibus without being securely strapped in. But now you can sit as safely and comfortably as other passengers.

Carony Go in standard cars or in MPVs/minibuses
In standard cars a TURNOUT swivel base is tted, which turns the chair through the door opening. The chair slides over from the Carony wheel unit to the car on rails. Turnout is available as a manual or electrically powered base. In cars with high oors, such as MPVs and minibuses, a TURNY car seat lift is installed. The seat lift turns the chair and lowers it outside the vehicle. Turny HD has a manual turning function and electrical height adjustment. Turny Orbit is fully electrically powered and operated by a hand control.
The Turnout swivel base turns the chair outwards, so Carony Go can be docked to the car.
In cars with higher oors, Carony Go is used together with Turny HD or Turny Orbit.

Carony Go indoors

Easy to use indoors and out
CARONY GO is a class B wheelchair with a user weight limit of 120 kg. The chair is CE-labelled and approved to Swedish Handicap Institute requirements for power wheelchairs. The control system is by Dynamic a leading supplier of systems for power wheelchairs. The wheelchair responds smoothly to the joysticks commands and is easy to manoeuvre around the home. Its width of 65 cm enables Carony Go to pass easily through door openings and around obstacles.
The arm of the control box can be lowered an advantage when sitting at a table, for instance.

Folding arm

The control box arm can be lowered, which is a major advantage when getting in or out of the chair or wheeling it up to a table.
Loosen the catch and lower the control box arm. The control box can also be folded down out of the way.
Adjustable speed settings
You can set your wheelchair speed to fast or slow using the hare and tortoise buttons. This enables precision in conned areas, and higher speeds (max. 6.5 km/h) outdoors, for example.

Adjustable seat height

The seat height can be adjusted by 13 cm, from 42 to 55 cm. When driving the wheelchair, the seat should be at the lowest level to ensure the best possible balance.
The seat lift is used to adjust the docking height to the cars swivel base or car seat lift. The seat height can also be adjusted to make it easier to get in and out of the chair, and to reach up higher. The four lifting columns which raise and lower the seat maintain stability even in the raised position. In the lower position the seat height is only 42 cm.

On uneven surfaces
The front wheels on Carony Go have moving (pivoting) wheel attachments, making it easier for the wheelchair to adapt to uneven surfaces. The chair should not be driven on slopes steeper than 6 degrees or over kerbs higher than 6 cm.

Dark light conditions and range
The wheelchair is tted with reectors on the front, back and sides. A set of lights containing a rear light, side lights and front light is available as an optional extra. With fully charged batteries, the wheelchair should cover a distance of approximately 25 km.

Postural belts

Careva postural belts are very helpful for people who need extra support when sitting, for example if the upper body leans to one side or the lower body slides forward in the chair. The belt system comprises a spinal belt which is fastened vertically over the back support. The shoulder harnesses, thoracic belt, pelvic belt or a combi harness are then installed in the grooves of the spinal belt.

The transport wheelchair that increases your freedom!
With CARONY you can move in and out of the vehicle without actually needing to rise from the seat. Its the seat itself that moves from the wheelchair wheel unit to the swivel base inside the car. Its easy and comfortable for both the passenger and the person assisting. The low built seat is crash tested and fulls current vehicle regulations and the passenger travels safely strapped by the vehicle seatbelt. CARONY is available with two different wheel alternatives: 12 rear wheels, which is a transport wheelchair for those unable to drive themselves and with 24 drive wheels, for those who can. The CARONY system, 12 and 24, consists of a wheel-unit, a comfortable seat, which is used both inside and outside the vehicle and the swivel base TURNOUT tted to the car.
Carony 12 is a transport wheelchair suitable for users needing assistance, who are unable to wheel themselves.
By means of a couple of simple manual operations, you move the seat and passenger from the wheelchair frame to the front passenger position in the car. The compact wheel unit is stored in the boot when not in use. For vehicles with a higher step up, such as MPV vehicles etc., CARONY can be combined with the car seat lift TURNY.
Collision tested and approved in accordance with current legal requirements. When seated in the car, the passenger uses the vehicle seat belt. A number of practical accessories are available for sitting comfort. Can be used with most car models small or large, 2- or 4-door.
This is how you dock the Carony wheel unit to the car
1. Start by turning the swivel base in the car outwards and dock the Carony wheelchair to it. 2. Undo the catch and push the seat across to the revolving seat frame. 3. Loosen the Carony wheel unit and turn the seat into its correct position in the car. Store the wheel unit in the boot.

Smooth and easy to use, even at home!
Apart from being a transport wheelchair, the CARONY 24 is also a comfort wheelchair, smooth and easy to use in the home, outside and in the car. It has all the advantages of the CARONY system including practical accessories for various needs and functions. See page 7 for more information on accessories. The total width of the chair is 67 cm (26) and therefore passes easily through door openings in the home. The ergonomic design of the CARONY gives a good sitting position - as good as an armchair. It is possible to have the drive wheels in three alternative positions to adapt the chair to the needs, balance and driving ability of each individual user.

The chair that grows with your child!
CARONY Kids does away with having to lift the child and simplies transport to and from the car. CARONY Kids adapts to your child as the length of the seat cushion can be adjusted to follow to the growth of the child. The cushion and backrest can be washed and changed, if you wish. When the child has grown out of the chair, it can be converted to adult size with the help of a kit from Autoadapt. CARONY Kids is available in three alternatives: with12 rear wheels, a transport wheelchair. with 24 driving wheels for children who can drive the chair by themselves. as a CARONY Fixed wheel unit, which is of a standard xed height. CARONY Kids consists of a wheel unit, a comfortable seat with an adjustable neck cushion and body support, as well as a foot rack, facilitating turning in and out of a car. The chair is combined with either the swivel base TURNOUT or the car seat lift TURNY. The wheel unit is supplied in ruby red as standard. Other accessories, as well as alternative wheel unit colours, are available as options (see page 6-7).

The seat cushion can be lengthened by means of a Velcro band under the seat. Lift the seat cushion and move it forward as the child grows. Maximum extension is 5 cm (2).

Carony Fixed is a CARONY version with 12 rear wheels, specially developed for use in combination with the car seat lift TURNY. TURNYs continuously adjustable raising and lowering function enables docking with the CARONY Fixed wheel unit which is of a standard, xed height. CARONY Fixed can not be combined with the swivel base TURNOUT. CARONY Fixed wheel unit is supplied in ruby red, has all the advantages of the CARONY system, including many practical accessories which make the chair easy to adapt to special requirements or demands in connection with seating comfort. Antitipping device is included as standard.
1. Lower Turny to a suitable height to dock with the wheel unit.
2. Dock securely with the wheel unit and push the seat across.
3. Now, youre ready to go!
Carony Fixed is an easy to drive and comfortable transport chair, simple to use for both the person seated and for the assistant.
Carony Fixed can also be combined with Carony Kids.

The wheel unit can be raised or lowered 11,5 cm (4) to suit different cars and ground conditions when docking to the car. Raising/lowering is done with a crank on the side of the wheel unit. The wheels are solid and sturdy to enable driving under all conditions.

TILDA tilts the seat in 3 positions and makes it even easier to get in and out of the vehicle. In combination with CARONY, TILDA will provide more head space as the seat slides over from the Carony wheel unit to the swivel base inside the vehicle.
