Test Notes:

The best acceleration is recorded by power-braking the engine at 2000 rpm. With traction control off, the 745i exhibits modest wheelspin, followed by a smooth delivery of torque and seamless shifts. The cars mass can be felt during panic stops, but the distances are outstanding. Around the skidpad, the active anti-roll bars improve lateral grip by keeping the tires better oriented to the pavement. With aggressive steering and throttle, the 745i comes alive in the slalom.
