Block or edge frames offer a completely different look and Aluminium frames represent an exclusive, designoriented frame generation with high durability. enjoy a certain popularity also among architects. They are suitable for doors with standard rebate, flush-closing and all-glass doors. Wall thicknesses from 80 to 330 mm can be matched by combining different basic frames and decorative architraves. An example of this frame is shown in the illustration on page 7.

Burglar resistance
What does a burglar-resistant door actually mean?
When choosing an apartment entrance door, particular attention should be paid to the burglar resistance class. Why? Because a burglary is committed somewhere in Germany every two minutes and anyone can become a victim. The violation of the private sphere might be even worse than the material damage. Westag & Getalit provides as much security as you need. Our doors are available in various resistance classes. They are tested acc.
to DIN and Euro standards and are provided with test certificates and the corresponding marking. We recommend the optionally available three-point locking system and an additional hinge side protection to protect the door from being levered open. A spy-hole allows you to take a look at every caller before opening the door. And if you have forgotten to peep through the spy-hole, an integrated opening limiter keeps unwelcome callers out. The door just opens for a few centimetres and you have to reclose it and release the door limiter to let your visitor in. Its better to be safe than sorry!
