When you dial an AUTO DIAL number the LCD shows the name you've stored, or if you haven't stored a name, the number you've stored. If you must wait for another dial tone at any point in the dialing sequence, store a pause at that place in the number by pressing Nedial/Pause. Each key press adds a 3.5 second pause. You can use chain dialing to store long dialing sequences. For example, to store 65 4321, divide the number into two parts. Store the first part as a Chain type number (this tells the system that the dialing sequence is not complete).

Customizing the Transmission Verification Report
You can use the Transmission Report as proof that you sent a fax. This report lists the name or fax number of the receiving party, time and date of transmission and whether the transmission was successful (OK). The IntelliFAX-1270 is a full featured plain paper Fax, which includes a 14.4K bps modem, 20-page automatic document feeder, up to 200-sheet paper capacity and high yield, up to 450-page replacement print cartridge, making it ideally suited to handle demanding business applications. It can store up to 25 pages for out of paper reception. Quick Scan memory transmission, or fax broadcasting to multiple locations. Convenience copying features include multi-copying, sorting, enlargement and reduction. Automatic Fax/Telephone switching lets you receive both fax and voice calls on a single line. It stores up to 112 numbers for auto dialing, plus its both Caller ID and Distinctive Ring Detection are ready for customers subscribing to these services.
